I've got about three years of high school Spanish behind me, and I'm at the point where the pace is too slow for my tastes. I'd like to read a Spanish novel to improve my understanding of the language, though it shouldn't be too complicated. Preferably, it would be along the difficulty of Harry Potter or a similar children's book novel. I must be able to buy it on my Kindle, too. Also, if it wasn't clear, I do not want an English novel translated into Spanish or vice versa.

Youtube videos will not work on my internet network?

I'm in the US, its not my country banning the site.It's not my computer, because it will not work on either of my home computers, my sister's computer, my laptop, my phone or my Kindle Fire.It will go to youtube but the video will not load.It says that an error occurred. This has been happening for days and I need to be able to watch some videos that are youtube based for school.It WILL work with Foxy Proxy on but not all of my devices can use it and I need to fix the problem, not just use a bandaid on it.

I know that sounds silly, but I have 100 Classic Books for Nintendo DS and I can hear the pages turn when I "turn the page." I tried one out in a store, but I couldn't hear the pages turning. Also, if you can hear the pages, is it possible to turn the sound up on a Kindle or e-reader and if so, which E-readers would this be available on?

The reason I want a Kindle is because I enjoy reading and I don't want to bring a lot of books when I go places. I also enjoy reading and I would have to replace the books when the binding gets too worn down.

I have some a4 documents which i want in pdf so i can put them on my kindle.

whenever i scan them with my HP Photo-smart not all the pages come up some pages only show half the info.

i downloaded Scan2pdf and it scanned directly from my scanner to that software and made a pdf which was perfect but in the pdf there was red writing saying Scan2pdf.so basically they want me to pay to remove the writing.

Are shadows really demons? - 2

Every time I look at a shadow I think, "Another demon that could get me". They follow me, us, everywhere we go. When will they strike? They're truly fiends waiting to pounce.

What about in the darkness though? They're ALL AROUND in the dark.

There's just no getting away from them…

I bought a microscope online to study the demonic shadows that are truly omnipresent. I put the microscope on the asphalt to examine a shadow cast from a bumper post and I came to the realization that the shadow is darker compared to where the light is. Needless to say, there's something wrong with that.

I also bought a physics textbook to potentially give me insight on this demonic phenomenon known as 'shadows', but I ended up using it as kindling.

I tried to investigate the menacing pure darkness with the microscope, but I couldn't see anything. I came to the conclusion that the demons were using their horrible magic to prevent me from seeing. When I used a light to get a better view of the darkness, the demons all vanished. I believe they were trying to hide themselves so I wouldn't find out about their true nature.

I tried combating the darkness by throwing holy water at the shadows, but this brought no avail…

They truly are powerful. God help us all.

How to change MOBI. files back to default file opening program?

My dad was on my laptop, and he did something that changed all the MOBI. files I have on my laptop to open with Google Chrome! I don't have a program to open MOBI files, and I don't want one as they are for my kindle!

How can I restore it to its default program? I have already tried going into control panel, and changing the default program but seeing as I don't have one it wont work!

I know this is probably making no sense what so ever but I am not very tech savy!

My internet whent from good to not so good?

Hey i have a problem with my internet.It doesnt load youtube videos or any kind of videos fast at all anymore on all of my computers.My laptop, iphone, kindle, or desktop doesnt load videos very well at all.and when im playing playstation sometimes im kicked from a online game session during the game because i lost connection.My router is barley a year old and its basically new. The router is connected to the comcast modem and from the router it goes to my desktop. This has been going on for a month, I reset my router frequently and nothing seems to work. How would i know if its my comcast modem or my wireless router, its obvious its one of them.

What is 13 Horror's The Dare?

I've heard so many people talk about it. That's it's the "scariest short story since 'The Magic'" or some crap like that, but I can't find anywhere online what it is. Thoughts on the $60 Android tablets?

I see a lot of mixed reviews on Amazon. I would mostly want it for my 3 year old to play games on it. Can they be used for that? Are there preschool Apps available? Can they play Youtube videos? Can they be used for the amazon apps? Can they be used to watch movies from amazonprime? Should I just get a Kindle Fire instead, even though it is $90 more? Is there a better tablet under $175? (I definitely don't want to spend more than that!)

Why does my Kindle Fire stop charging?

Okay, I got my kindle fire in December 2011. Until July 2012, the charging worked perfectly.In July, the orange light was on, and for a few moments it was working. But now it stops right in the middle of charging! Its really difficult! Ive already contacted Amazon and they are sending me a replacement. I purchased books from kindle and read it from my Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Tab from the kindle app. I would like to remove them so that they are cleared from the kindle app downloaded book list, so that they cannot be accessed. I do not want to delete the book from my kindle book archives (the actual site), I just want certain books to not be accessible to free up space.

I'm not really sure it can be done except by uninstalling the kindle app and re-installing. But, also not sure that if I do all that it will still be accessible because it is in my books archive (the actual web site).

My brothers hate it, have since they were young! always have!

My mum has 2 daughters and 2 sons, me and my sister go shopping with her every week for clothes, or to the lush shop for bath products or to bath and both works, we buy her SO many presents, on her birthday i got her a amazon Kindle touch, 3 pairs of jeans, perfume, chanel make up and other stuff, so did my sister, my brothers never even brought her anything and there excuse was "I hate shopping"!

HONESTLY, i have to say it, I think males are BORES. they are boring, I don't care, I've thought it for a while and kept it in, they hate shopping, even in the malls 8 out of 10 shops are for women, my brother asked me to take him to the mall to spend his birthday money and as we were walking around i realize that most of the shops were primarily for women, and just a few for men, like the video game stores, which girls love to, most of my female friends love mario kart or mario galaxy - just not all that violent stuff.
they love video games, don't really do fun things, I just cannot relate to men they are pure and utter bores to me, for the most part,

I have 46 male first cousins and only 4 female first cousins (I literally have no females in my cousins - it sucks i know hardly no women, even all my extended family are males, my family is a real sausage fest LOL its horrible I hate it), and everyone of the males are utter BORES, they talk about things like fishing, sports, hate shopping, don't do anything.

I cannot relate to me, gosh I hope I don't have a son :-\

I have 2 10 gallon tanks that I used for my bettas, 1 died, the other is in a 5.5 gallon.My dad, who does treat me bad. He treats me like I am his daughter, and is ALWAYS annoying me about my hair, teasing to cut it off, calling me blind as a bat, etc! It is all TRUE! I realized too late that I did not buy my criminology textbook. I went to the nearest Barns and Noble store and they said that they do not carry textbooks and the only one that does is in the city. I've been looking into getting a new tablet. I have an android one now that is ok but I just don't like the feel of ICS. I was strongly leaning towards an iPad 3, probably early next year when they are likely to reduce the price to $400. But then today, I tried Kindle Fire HD and I think one with an 8.9 inch screen would be quite nice. I would probably get the 32gb one, which is about $370.

Is kindle worth buying if your a student?

Im a university student and in a small uni, the library sources are very limited and i can't be bothered to go all the way to other libraries, there are more students than there are books and i'm sick of fighting over limited copies, so would it be a wise idea to invest in a kindle, i don't know much about it, or how it works, but i heard about ebooks and that they are generally cheaper than buying paperbacks, im a history student so i need to access history books.

I'm asking this question firstly because this is such a digital age, and it seems everyone prefers to use Kindle's or iBooks to read. I'm 13, and I still prefer to pysically hold the book and read it. I just don't like the way most people read now. I think I'm just old fashioned, I've always loved books.

Sometimes, on a Saturday morning I get up early, get the bus into town and go to the big public library, and sit there most of the day reading.It's quite relaxing, I would go everyday but since I have school, I don't get home until 4pm, and by the time I had gotten a bus into town it would be about 5:30pm, and the library closes at 6:30pm so that doesn't leave a lot of time. I just love the quiet atmosphere in a library :]

Can you read photocopies on a Kindle?

Specifically on the new Kindle Paperwhite which is yet to be released. I assume if older versions can do it, then the newer can too (?)

Here some details:
I live in Mexico right now, and I buy a lot of books from Amazon.com. If I had a Kindle I could skip the delivery which means less $$$
Also I'm a college student, I get to read many articles from electronic magazines and stuff on PDF format. I was wondering if I could read them directly on the Kindle (turning them into another format or something). (?)
The biggest problem is, and also the main question, that I have to read a lot from photocopies I take from real books, so I was wondering if it is posible to scan those photocopies, turn them into some shitty PDF format and read them on the Kindle somehow.

Questions:
1.- Can you read original/legal PDF articles on the Kindle somehow?
2.- Can you read "homemade" PDF's (scanned photocopies) on the Kindle somehow?
3.- How exactly can you do both?

External Keyboard For Kindle Fire?

I have the regular Kindle Fire (not HD) and though I am fairly happy with it, I have seen iPad users who have external keyboards for their tablets.Is there a similar keyboard for the Fire since the virtual keyboard it has is quite small and even in landscape mode difficult to use? I am trying to avoid purchasing a laptop and have found a good note-application for the Fire, but it's enough to say that I'm not any good at typing on it.
