How to pick your next read?

I have so many books to choose from and never know which book to read next if it's not part of a series. Any suggestions on how to go about picking my next read when I'm done with a book? I have over 2500 books on my kindle.

How to transfer kindle PC ebooks to my KINDLE?

I'm trying to set up my nephew's [7 y.o.] kindle; he doesn't have wifi on it and we don't have a password for any wifi. He does have internet at home through a PC.

I heard that if you downloaded books onto your PC you can transfer the books onto the kindle. I havew downloaded a book just for practice to see if it would work… and when I'm trying to drag the book into "documents" nothing is being transfered.

So do I really need WIFI in order to get the book to show up on the kindle?

I was wondering about how you get books on there and how much it costs to download them. Are there any dodgy websites like frostwire to download books free for kindle? Or do you always have to pay? Thanks

Kindle publishing reading kdp reports ###?

I have a question. Was just looking over my KDP prior month report and where the total royalty should be for Us sales both 70% and 35% both place had ###. Please tell me why? I sold over 3500 books between those categories and it shows all that just not the total number.it has my KOLL number and all other countries total. Please help. How to stop puppy chewing my wires?

Our new springer is 11 weeks.
I'm the one training her and she is really bright. She's learned sit, come, stay and is working toilet training

My only issue is that she's taken a liking to wires. The first few night we had her she chewed my epilator wire. Which we fixed. About a week ago I forgot to put my kindle wire away and she ate through that, luckily it wasn't plugged in.

Last night was the last straw when she'd started on my lamp, this was plugged in and she'd nearly got to the copper (is it copper?) part, I do put wires out of sight now but this one was hidden and she found it out.
I'm not too fussed about replacing or fixing things, I'm just worried that she'll bite into one like that again and I'll wake up to a frazzled dog.

She is actually hunting them out and trying to put ones that are fixed onto the wall off, what technique can I do to stop this? She's doing it while I'm asleep, obviously out of boredom.

S there away to record xbox gameplay with a kindle fire HD 7 and how?

Me and my freind want to record minecraft 360 game play but all we got are some cords (we can get new ones if we need to there not expensive) and my kidle fire HD 7" i was thinking have it pluged in with my usb and have microphones hooked up with the controller and it will work but he wont be back for 2 months and i this figured out before then.

Unauthorized Kindle Purchases?

On two separate occasions, I have received an email stating that I made a purchase for my Kindle, both were porn items, one for $2.99, the other was free. After the first time, Amazon credited me the money and I changed my password. Now its happened again. How can this be? I have two devices and two registered reading apps. All devices are within my home and nobody else has access to them, so how could these be purchased on my account?

I've been playing sims free play on my iPhone and just recently got a kindle fire. I downloaded the app on my kindle and and uploaded my data on the cloud and when I try to download saved data from the cloud on the kindle it says no data on cloud. What can I do??? Please help!

Ok so… It was broke an never turned on anymore anyways but i just got bored and took the back off my kindle fire an stabed the electronics an from the stab much smoke rose from it and the device started to get very hot! Wondering about buying a new kindle?

Hi, I was thinking about buying a new kindle… my friend has one and she uses it for reading and junk and I was thinking about getting one… what is the best one out there as of now? That isn't outrageously expensive of course? How much space? How many books can it hold? Where is the best place to buy it? Is there one that wont put strain on my eyes? Should I be concerned about my son killing animals on Survival Craft?

My son has been playing the game Survival Craft on his Kindle Fire every chance that he gets.At first I thought it was a good game for him to be into but now it seems to be becoming an addiction. Also, he kills animals such as panda bears and wolves "for food." He thinks its funny. Does anyone play this game and have any input? He is gentle with real, living animals but enjoys killing them on the game.

Kindle fire HD freezing up every 10 seconds, why?

My kindle fire HD 7" tablet keeps freezing up, I'll load an app up, 2 seconds later it'll freeze, only way to resolve it is by locking and unlocking it then going back to the app, then it does the same thing, over and over, it's driving me crazy. Only started doing it recently, also tried a factory reset, same old story. Anyone had the same problem/know a fix? Thanks!

What do you consider a fair price for a book on politics and the economy?

Let's say you see a book in the Amazon Kindle store called "The Contentious Otter's Guide to Sticking It To The Man", and as you read the blurb on the book you realize it's a book of essays about the US economy, and those essays dissect misinformation promoted by the GOP and the Tea Party.

What would you consider a fair price for an e-book copy of such an incredible work of literature?

d) I'd pay anything for the work on political economy by someone on par with The Contentious Otter

Confused about airport security bins?

All I'm taking in my carry on is my laptop, wallet, and Kindle, as well as other little things that don't really pertain to this question. When I go through security, how do I organize these things as efficiently as possible? Should I put my laptop by itself in a separate bin and then put my carry-on and shoes in another? Can I put them in the same bin? Do I need to take my Kindle out, too? My bag is just a backpack, so it isn't that big. Haha, airport security scares and confuses me, so answers would be helpful! :)

My Kindle fire wont charge!

This is my second kindle fire in less than two years, The first one stopped charging unless propped up right, and then stopped altogether. They sent me a new one for free, and now its happening again. I've tried changing the wall socket, shutting it down, and it still wont charge! please help!

I lost my kindle and I can't find it?

While I was moving to a new house with my family I seem to have misplaced my kindle.My mom said she gave it to me and I don't even remember getting it! Most of the stuff is unpacked now in the new house and I still can't find it. I know it's not in the old house because it's completely empty. Are the page numbers on a kindle different from a regular book?

I bought a book for my school's "Summer Reading" program, and I have to do log entries. You're supposed to divide the number by 10 and so on. But I have the book on my kindle, and I think the page numbers are different from a regular book, as in a hard cover or something. Can someone help?

I wanna get a tablet under 350-400$ but with so many options out there I don't know which one to get. I want to download books, download apps like games, social networks, etc.maybe something with a camera/video, something that if I connect to someone else's wifi that's not mine it works just as well, good battery life, can download music/listen to music on it, I watch a lot of YouTube as well. What would you guys suggest?

Does the Kindle fire 1st gen have built in wifi? im so confused!

My nook tablet has recently decided to stop being awesome and screw up all the time so im looking into getting a kindle fire, im looking into the first generation because of the great price. I know the description says it has "amazon silk" or built in wifi, but i dont understand. The reviews talk about connecting to wifi and hotspots… so does it not have wifi in the tablet? Im mainly concerned about getting a texting app. I cannot use my phone, temporarily, and i have been using my nook textnow app to communicate. Don't know what I want for my bday?

So I'll be turning 17 in August and my parents keep asking me what I want. I already have a laptop, iPhone, and car, that I've gotten over the years, which is more than I could ask for, but my parents insist on getting me something nice for my birthday since there awesome and love me.
