It best to not use the one which need you to root it but whatever. If it needs to root please explain it! I just got my kindle and want to personalize it! For the lock screen and the home screen.

Kindle fire internal storage personal vidoes problem help ASAP!

Ok so I have a kindle fire (NOT HD) and i've put videos on it and have used the amazon prime thing to watch the zombieland series and now I have 371.7 MB of space on it and there is nothing in it. I use ES explorer on my kindle and there is nothing in the movies or the videos folder and I plugged it into my computer and there is still nothing is those folder, i've deleted a bunch of useless stuff and there is still the 371 mb still there and I cant find any help or support online and I don't want to factory reset.any help??? Please this is really frustrating and if you could respond ASAP that would be very awesome of you.

Whats the best tablet to get?

I am 23 in a couple of weeks and for my birthday I want to buy myself something once I get paid next month. I already have an iphone 4 which I have had for almost 2 years and absoloutely love it because its an amazing phone and love all the apps you can buy and download plus kindle which is amazing.

I really have wanted a tablet for a year or so but now after alot of thought I wanted to know the best one to buy my budget is around £300-350 but also seen the Ipad mini which looks good but I want to know from everyone your reviews and the best one to buy

If I go to the Downloading screen, it says "File size in not available yet"

How to get candle wax off of a Kindle?

I was going to delete the "System settings" and replace it with a mod I made. The other two "system" apps I deleted those by accident.So I deleted all the three "System" apps on my Kindle Fire HD.

Guilt and Scared! Pregnant at 20?

I need to get this off my chest because I've been freaking out for the last five days. I feel guilty because I keep track of my signs, I'm not on birth control, and I didn't take Plan-B… I don't know why, I kind of pushed it away from my mind and now I'm stressing myself out even more than what is healthy for me… I can't bring myself to go to the store and buy a pregnancy test and I can't even tell my boyfriend or closest kin. I feel like I may have messed things up but at the same time a piece of kindling in my heart is urning to burn bright with happiness. This is my conflicted guilt and a plea for an answer!

So i'll try to make this short.My friends and I (we're 14 year old band girls) created a music group and our director (more like our friend) is our leader. She's really cool and got us into like thirty gigs! We're even playing at a wedding soon.

So… She works really hard for us and writes us all our music and of course takes time to rehearse with us. Last year at the end of the season (for lack of a better word… ) we bought her a kindle.It was a great gift and she cried. The wedding is in a month and thats when we plan on giving her our present.

Music on my kindle fire plays out loud?

I've had my kindle fire for almost a year, it's my second one as I've had issues in the past, and I like to play music a lot on it and a few days ago I plugged in my headphones to listen to music and it continued to play out loud. I unplugged the headphones and tried again thinking it was a one time glitch but it's still doing it, three days later. Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?

What should I price my eBook? - 1

I'm planning to write a story. I'm an unknown teen who has never been published, but I am going to take advantage of Kindle Direct Publishing and try to make some money for doing what I love. I don't mean to sound pompous in any way, but I'm actually a very, very good writer, at least when it comes to fiction.

So, this is going to be a novella length e-book, though it is possible it may reach novel length, so it's not going to be in any way short.It is going to be a horror story, and the ultimate horror story. I mean, I'm going to try to GO THERE and make this one of the most disturbing, intense stories that you will ever read.

So, considering I make this promise and do a decent amount of amateur advertising (at which I am skilled) on YouTube and other sites, about where should I price my eBook? I was thinking about3 to 4 dollars. I know it's a little high, but I'm going to really put my all into this story.

Please be honest. If my cover promises one of the most disturbing horror stories you will read, and it is priced at about 3-4 bucks, would you purchase it? Thanks for any input.

Here is my poem, I would like you to pay attention to the structure of the poem. Can it be organized in a more poetic way?

Submergence within this ambience,
Defines the molten sapphire silence,
As it flows through pinnacle moments,
Down until the ocean floor

The depthifying sea abyss,
Contradicts my fear of oblivion,
As I remember of the darkest, and ancient monsters
told in the tales of the ocean's folklore

Suddenly Moissanite glints echo to my conscience,
I turn to see twinkling fish, begging me to follow their guidance,
And though I am mystified, insecure and unsure,
A celestial temptation draws me to them, as if to take me to my ethereal amour

Deeper and duskier and denser is my descent
But I must follow the beautiful diamond trail
And though I contend to coldness and struggle against the voluminous pressure coming from all sides
My hair dances with the undulating violence and I feel genuine

But then the glints kindled into absence
My horror is excruciating as I realize the deceit in the onyx
As it bleeds into my conscience
My pinnacle memories tightens the bonds
And my sedimentary fear drags me to depression's core

I lay at rock bottom as a prisoner in this abyss
For many dull years, or maybe minutes
Never again reaching my pinnacle memories,
As my figment movements are taken over

But then, I swiftly wake to warm sparks
That are chasing away the prisonning darkness
And I whisper, the perforated syllables sinking in doubt, " Amour?"

The spark grows into a delicate, blinding, brilliance
The feathering warmth gashes through my chains, murdering the coldness
The savoring and refreshing glow ribbons and envelops me into a sweet cadence
And I realized the light of hope had summoned my saviour

Now, neither the sky is above, nor the Earth is below
My saviour whispers the glowing words enlightening my essence
" You are saved, and now only you are here"
"Yes," I say, "Only me, my breath, and my heartbeat"
"The monsters had saved me"
"I now know how to believe in my existence"

What do you believe to be the meaning of the poem?

I need a tablet that can read PDFs and is relatively large. Here are my requirements:

-Handle PDFs well (adjust scaling, take notes, flip through pages quickly)

Normally for MLA, the authors name and page number (Crystal 9) is used as in-text. How would you do it for a kindle?
Added (1). For the Kindle 3, that option is available. However, I have the Kindle Fire. Only some publishers add the page numbers for their book. All I am given is the progress bar.therefore, that does not work.

Why wont my Kindle let me connect to my amazon account?

My friend recently gave me a Kindle, it's one of the old Kindles (not a touch screen).It is brand new, it came in its box and all of the instructions, etc.To set up the kindle you have to connect to wifi and sign into an amazon account to access the book store. I successfully connected to my wifi on my Kindle and my Macbook and iPhone etc are all connected to my wifi too and I have never ever had any problems with them. However, when I try and sign in to my Amazon account on my Kindle it comes up saying "You are not connected to the internet, you have to be in a wireless range" etc - although, it says I am connected successfully and even the internet browser on my Kindle works etc. I have googled this problem huge amounts of times and it's just saying restart it and reset to factory settings but that doesn't work either. I have even tried making a completely new Amazon account and it wont let me log into that either so it's definitely not my Amazon account. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and if anyone knows how to fix it? It's just really bugging me because my friend gave me it as a gift and I cant even use it,

I always come on sites that have.epub books and i can't read those with kindle on my laptop. I'd pay for eBooks on amazon but i find that those are sometimes more expensive than the normal books. Thank you so much! I downloaded some program that reads epub files though, but it's not handy like on kindle.

My Kindle Charger/Kindle is acting weird?

The charger is its original USB cord and a USB to wall plug in thing from Staples. I got it for Christmas, and it was acting fine until a few days ago.It started to not want to charge unless it was pushed in and held in the charger exactly right, and it kept charging on and off while I always kept the charger in the kindle. The battery runs out really fast too. Like 1 1/2 hours. But the charger just isn't charging it right anymore, and I can't get it to charge right now. Any advice?
