I have the regular Kindle Fire (not HD) and though I am fairly happy with it, I have seen iPad users who have external keyboards for their tablets.Is there a similar keyboard for the Fire since the virtual keyboard it has is quite small and even in landscape mode difficult to use? I am trying to avoid purchasing a laptop and have found a good note-application for the Fire, but it's enough to say that I'm not any good at typing on it.
I saw a Youtube video where the device has to be "rooted." What does that mean? Is this an option so that I can use an external keyboard?
