Regular kindle, voyage, or paperwhite?

I'm looking at buying a kindle, but I don't know which one to get. I ruled put paperwhite because it stores less than the voyage and regular touch screen kindle. I'm stuck between the voyage and regular because I don't know if getting the $200 voyage is worth it, when I can get the regular one for $79. But, with the regular kindle not having the adjustable built in light, how does it look in the dark, or in darker rooms?

How to play the games you bought on amazon?

I bought grand theft auto for $6.99 on amazon on my kindle… Is there anyway I can pay the game on other devise if I have the kindle app? I don't want to buy it again.

Windows 8 laptop (I have one for school and one for home but the at home one sucks. I would pass it down to my brother)

Re-decorate my room in a SUPERWHOLOCK theme (I don't own the house yet so i'm afraid of re-decorating and not owning the house)
Getting some dresses and shoes along with a bit of makeup

What would you suggest I do? I have about 230 dollars to spend

Is there a free comic book reader for the Kindle Fire that works?

I don't have a bank account or really any way to pay for apps in the appstore, but I still want to read my comics on the Kindle Fire.
I looked in the store and saw Comics by Comixology but when I installed it and tried to open it an error message popped up saying I need an SD card?

This whole deal is pretty dumb. I mean really, I can't read things on a freaking eReader. Oh the irony.

How to stop myself from using my technology?

So I have a iPhone, kindle fire, and a laptop. Ever since I was presented with that technology, I have felt that I was using it a ton and not getting homework done. I have also been playing on my PS3 a lot lately because I got a new game. And watching TV after school has been a problem too. When I watch TV, I only tell my self for an hour and then after that timer goes off, I keep on watching for like another 2 hours.😖 I can't help it. I have really tried to stop, but I became so addicted… I cant!ðŸ˜" Please help me😞 I need to focus on school.

Okay, so once in a while, my Kindle Fire HD usually fails to Authenticate the wifi?

I am putting in the correct password, it's working, and I am in the internet wifi range. But, still keeps saying in an urgent red "AUTHENTICATION FAILED". Is there anyway that I can fix this without turning off my router and turning it back on?

How to stop blaming myself for the breakup?

My girlfriend was talking to her ex alot. She obviously wasnt over him. She was secretive with her phone, and i just didnt feel like she loved me, even thought she said she did. I just keep blaming myself for breaking up with her over this. We've broken up ALOT over the same issue. Like 5 or 6 times now? I just cant get over the fact that she talks to her ex. She refuses to quit, even though i told her it makes me feel bad that she does it. Her excuse is always, "I can be friends with whoever i want. I practically grew up with him" They dated for 3 years. But im just not comfortable with it. The small chance of the kindle fire of their past love, being relit from them talking all the time, scares me and i cant deal with it. Am i in the wrong with not allowing it to continue? Am i just insecure? I honestly just cant deal with it, and we broke it off. AGAIN. Hopefully for good. I love her to death, and she supposedly loves me too, she cried for me back and i came back like an idiot, but she still talks to him. I cant do it, i cant allow that in a relationship or im gone. Am i wrong for that?

I mean, I decided to start reading more. So i started with the classics I started to buy the books from my local bookstore. BUT holy hell, the prices continued to increase! So i found out that most classics are free ebooks and stuff and i'm gonna buy a kindle and also the books are cheaper. I love the feel of a book in my hand but in this time I can't. I get jelous of those with huge bookshelves of collectons. Hahah. What do you people prefer and think about that i said?

I would like to know if it is possible to turn this into a PDF so that it can be saved onto my USB or e-mailed. I found a website, epubconverter.com, but in order to convert files it must be housed on my computer. It's downloaded in the kindle app, but not visible in downloaded files. It's confusing.

How to UNBRICK my Kindle fire 2nd Gen (not hd) that can't be seen by a computer?

Sorry about posting this again, I think my last post confused people because I mad a mistake with the question.

I decided I would flash TWRP on my Kindle so I did. Except after flashing it, my kindle booted up and showed the kindle fire logo for about 1 second then the screen turned completely red.

IIput it into fastboot mode using a fastboot cable and the traffic lights popped up but the computer couldn't find my device! Not only that, but it can't charge!

Please help.

Ive heard you can get a Kindle that uploads German books that give the English translation when you tap on a word. I believe you can read the classics in German this way, among other things. Does anyone know exactly which type of Kindle I would need for this? Im already quite advanced in German and this would be so useful.

Best kind of tablet for $200ish?!

I'm looking to buy my mom and her husband a tablet to share for Christmas and want to spend around $200-$250! But I'm not sure whether I should go with an Android tablet or some kind of Kindle. They do like to read but it wouldn't be their main use! Also I want one in medium size, nothing small nothing huge! 8inn-10in I guess I would consider medium tablet size! Federal probation search and seizure regulations & 4th ammendment?

Hello,

I am on federal probation, and I have a live-in girlfriend and a child. My probation officer came over and in plain view found items not allowed per the special terms and conditions of my probation. Namely a cellphone (mine), laptop (hers), kindle (hers). He also found other computer equiptment belonging to me. The terms state I cannot have an electronic device connected to the internet. This was over a year ago and I ended up getting a violation, but I have not received the items back yet. Its not my phone im worried about, but the laptop and kindle. Firstly the laptop was encrypted with full disk encryption and that really irritated them and thats why they say they cant return it. I dont think they had the right to take her stuff in the first place let alone search it.

Is there any lawyers out there that can explain if they did have the right, and how long they can keep her stuff? Maybe cite the actual law, because ive looked on lexis nexis and cant find any specific information on this scenario.

I tried to install a second boot loader but when I turned my kindle fire on after installed it showed the kindle fire logo for 1 second then the screen turned completely and utterly red. I tried plugging it into a fast boot cable and it went into fast boot mode with the traffic lights but still the computer didn't recognize it. Can't even charge it. Please help.
