What can i do to make my kindle screen respond properly?

My kindle screen isn't responding properly… When i touch the screen it acts like it is not calibrated and my one touch presses like five keyboard buttons or a completely different part of the screen… How do i fix the screen to make it respond like it use to? Btw, if the fact i have Cyangenomod 11 helps, there it is.

How to transfer ebooks from my pc to kindle?

I have recently been given a kindle 4 which is empty of contents, there was no USB cable with it so I'm using one I already have, In my PC I have a couple of ebooks I downloaded from a free ebook site in PDF format, I have tried the suggested ways of transferring the files using drop and drag finding the kindle device on my PC and then dropping the items into the kindle, when I access the kindle on my PC it says they are there, but when I switch on the kindle the device is still empty. When I connect the two together via the USB cable I get a message on the kindle saying '' if you want to read or shop on your kindle while continuing to charge over USB, please keep the USB cable attached, but eject your kindle from your computer '' but I'm not trying to charge, could the problem be that the USB cable I am using is not the right one, I always thought USB cables were standard, I have tried several times but all to no avail.

Why does amazon not have a manual time/date change option on their kindle fire hdx 7?

I know that I can't manually change the date and time on a kindle fire hdx 7 (if I'm wrong please tell me) but what I want to know is why they removed that option. Because I can't think of a single valid reason for it because older generations had that option and this generation has no such option and I just don't understand why. I just want to know because this has completely and utterly confused me. I want to change the date and time so that I can cause a seasonal event in a game I'm playing.
To be completely clear I've looked everywhere and Amazon (from what I can tell) has said absolutely nothing about this.

Amazon kindle app recommendations?

i just got an amazon kindle from my mom for free when my laptop died. I would rather keep the tablet than go out and get a larger bulkier laptop. On my kindle I need to get a word document app, and a graphic design app of some sort (for t- shirt and tattoo designs for business reasons) however, I don't know much about kindles so I was hoping someone could help tell me if they have any good apps I can use (free or otherwise, doesn't matter as long as theyre the best apps for what I need). Can anyone at all help?
Also, ill need to get some type of scanner/ printer for it? Can I use the one I already have?

How to deregister my kindle?

So I have the Kindle app on my Samsung Galaxy s5, and I also have a Kindle e-reader. It is saying that I can't read or load anymore books because I reached my limit for books on my device. It also said I can deregister one of my devices so the other will work. I want to deregister my actual Kindle but it is broken. Is there another way to do this? Maybe through the amazon website? I haven't read this book yet, only because I can't find it anywhere! :( None of the libraries in my area have it. I can't find it in bookstores. I don't have a kindle or e-reader, so that's out too (I prefer tangible books anyway)

The only thing I can think of is buying it online. If you've read it, do you think it's worth owning? I don't really like buying books unless I know I'll want to read it more than once…

Time limit app with no restrictions?

My daughter is 14 and I understand she needs her privacy but, she is constantly in her room on her kindle. That's all she ever seems to do. I want to limit her time on her kindle but allow complete access to everything. I don't want to invade her privacy and "monitor her history list" or anything like that. I tried kindle free time but that seems to block the web browser. Is there any other app that only limits the time but allows access to everything? Thank you! Any advice helps:)

Why is my kindle fire HD not working?

I had my kindle fire HD charging for a couple days without use, and then all of a sudden when I press the power button, nothing happens. When I unplug it and plug it back in, it turns on, but it doesn't work. I try to slide it, and nothing happens. When I rotate the screen to be horizontal, the format doesn't change, and i'm left with the top of it on the left with black on the right. When I press the power button, it goes black, but doesn't turn it back on when I press it again. Can anyone help me with this?

Hey everyoneee.
SO I have a Kindle Paperwhite (I guess it's version 3.4 - that's what it says) and I write stories, too, and I like to sit outside and write, but because it's so hot, it doesn't take more than a few minutes before my laptop is insanely hot and it honestly hurts to write on it and sit with it.
So I want to sit with my Kindle instead, but are there anyone who knows how to write documents on Kindle's, that can be saved and transferred to my laptop over USB? If you know, I'd really like the instructions for it, haha:)

I know that you set up multiple kindle accounts on one amazon prime account. So how do you did it on the ipad?
