My kindle touch won't turn on after update. Fixes?
Added (1). I have a kindle touch from 2011/2012. It showed me the updating screen yesterday, updated, and it has been stuck on the tree screen since. It doesn't turn on or off. I tried resetting it but nothing happened, it's still stuck on that screen.

Do Kindle sales count toward the Amazon bestseller list?

We have a book coming up for release and are hoping to get it on the Amazon bestseller list for its specific category. It is up for kindle pre-order but there is not a pre-order for the physical copy of the book. My question is: is there a separate bestseller list for Kindle than for just Amazon bestseller (category specific bestseller list)? Do sales of Kindle/ebooks count toward the Amazon bestseller list? Or do they only apply to Kindle/ebook specific lists?

I have the Amazon kindle app on my phone.
I started the thirty day free trial of kindle unlimited, but what happens to the books I m reading after the thirty days are up?
Will they still be there?
Or will they disappear after the trial is over? Making me buy them?

I want to get more into coding/programming. I use scratch.mit.edu but I would really like to go further into learning about this. I perfer something I could use mostly on a kindle fire hd. But a laptop computer program would work too. Something that allows me to make games or even something I could get from the store and program like a mini robot or something.

Are kindles actually worth it?

Space isn't an issue so a lot of books doesn't bother me and also I don't really travel or go anywhere that I'd need to carry it so I could read something when I'm bored. I'd imagine those 2 things are the main reasons to get one, so take those factors out, then what's the point?

So I exposed my kindle HD to the summer sun, and it shut itself down?

I was outside sunbathing, watching Youtube on my kindle, and didn't quite think about how hot my kindle might get in the sun… Long story short, it suddenly turned itself off, the screen was extremely hot, and it won't turn back on. It's been about 10 hours now, and it still won't turn back on. Is there a way to fix this, or have I boned myself on this one?

Problem with sound on my kindle fire?

So I have a kindle fire but when I plug headphones into it the sound still comes out like it normally would without the headphones and if I turn the volume up and down it doesn't change and it stays up all the way?

Kindle Fire HD Won t Delete PDF Files?

I ve had my kindle fire hd for a few years now, and I ve added dozens of books and pdf files to it by connecting it to my computer. Now, when I deleted the pdf files from my kindle fire via my computer, I noticed they were still showing up on my kindle. So, I pressed down on them (one at a time) until the option popped up to "remove from device". I click remove from device, and it disappears… For about 3 seconds before it appears again right where it was before. When I try to access it to read it doesn t open either, so it seems as though they were deleted, but it didn t register in the kindle? It s really annoying having all of these pdf files I can t use and don t want to use bogging up my kindle. Any advice or fix would be appreciated. Cheers!

Bought a kindle fire book for school and Amazon froze my book up on a PC after opening the book up in the kindle reader on two separate computers at school--not fair considering I'm the only one with the password etc.-----so how do I get a refund for the book--I bought the book on the 14th. Stopped cold at College by the Kindle fire?

Why did my kindle fire book fail to open on the first day of class? When I downloaded the kindle reader and opened the book on a second occasion on a PC desktop with the kindle reader-the download failed to open stating- " the number of downloads etc. Are too much--do you want to purchase the book again etc."---How am I supposed to use my class book etc. At school when I can't open it up on a desktop etc.----No one else has my password etc.-My "house" where my desktop is 300 miles away etc.---Even if I could access my desktop--the pop-up just stated I can't open the book up on a desktop anymore only on a kindle fire etc.----So I have to squint for the entire semester etc.---I'll let you know this is a 140$ kindle fire book! Basic college mathmatics by elayn gay etc.--the 5th edition---So WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?

How to change a US kindle fire (original) to a UK one?

I got my kindle fire on my birthday the year they were released. What my mother didn't realize was that the thing is running on the US system. I haven't actually used the device now for ages and had to buy a cheaper, older version of a kindle to access reading material. But I'm hoping now that there is some sort of way to change the settings within the kindle to make it run as it's UK counterpart.
I'd love to buy myself a new one with the UK system but I just don't have the money, and seen as I have one already, it's pretty pointless.
So, is there any way to change the US amazon Kindle fire into one that actually functions as a UK kindle fire?
