Kindle screen glitched after getting slammed into someones head?

-Tried to restart multiple times, to no avail
-Kindle Keyboard, 4 years old
-treated well, rarely dropped
-screen became glitched and caused a ton of lines to appear, half of the screen was frozen

Why the hell won't my kindle fire hd play a DOWNLOADED film?!

Okay so I downloaded a film onto my kindle and it played for about 3 minutes then just stopped by going onto the buffering screen. And it just won't work! Why the hell won't a downloaded film work? It's downloaded so doesn't need wifi!

I honestly don't get it…
Do I have to pay a monthly fee? How do I get books on my phone that aren't samples? Are there audiobooks on it?

I was going to buy Sims 3 on my phone but I didn't want it to take up too much space but I have a kindle. I have itunes money on my phone because I don't like using credit cards to buy stuff with but there is and option to gift apps on Apple so I was thinking about gifting it to my Kindle. Is it possible?

Kindle Fire HDX - Can I put custom videos/pictures/music on the thing? Straight from my PC?

I'm thinking of buying one. I want something I can watch videos on (and maybe read books) but don't want to buy something like an iPod/iPad. Any alternatives to these options are welcome, if it's less than $250. :3

Added (1). When I go to Home, then Audiobooks, there is a blank screen with nothing there. So do I need an app that I don't have? I'm new to Kindle and so I don't know my way around this device.

Am I crazy for doing this habitually?

I don't bother anyone or make any noise but I have a tendency of liking to stay up at weird hours. I just like to consider it me time bc I don't have me time during the day. I've been called crazy or I have an internet addiction. I don't believe so? I just browse. Watch movies. Sometimes even read my book on my kindle app. And Try to unwind. What do you's think? I'm almost 20 years old but I think it's part of growing up bc I didn't feel the need for me time when I was younger, now I'm like ugh I need it I work like a maniac and it's like home work home work fun time once a week occasionally. Barely go out.

Amazon is being really stupid?

I want to get an audible book that I already have the kindle book for. When I try to get the audible it says I have already purchased it and if it isn't showing up in audible (it isn't) try again in a few moments. I did that and it still didn't work so am I doing something wrong or?

Do you prefer Kindles or tangible books?

I like both.
I'll read real books when I'm at home or gonna be out of the house for a while and use Kindles on my morning commute for school.
I also buy tangible books when they're novels or poetry books or just books that are important to me and use Kindles to buy magazines, newspapers, and textbooks. It's nice to read daily news on my way to class without having to lug around sheets of paper; plus, Kindle magazine subscriptions are So cheap!

How to get Snapchat on my kindle fire hd without having to have google play services?

I got it downloaded but it says i need google play and so I tried to do that but then I needed to have my kindle rooted so i tried to do that and for some reason it can't be rooted or the thing i was using sucked, but honestly i don't want to do all these things just for snapchat. My kindle fire hd is the latest version, it's the 6. Something something i can't remember I'm sorry. I'll be sure to look at it when i get home and ill update this. Thanks for any advice in advance.

Are Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Kindle, and Amazon music available on Nexus 9 tablet?

Very important to me in deciding whether or not to get it. It's going to be for my grandmother and me and she watches a few Amazon original shows and I enjoy listening to Amazon prime music and reading kindle books, so it's very important that they have these in the app store.

My Paperwhite Kindle is frozen. Help?

My Kindle froze after not using it for a few weeks. It's stuck on the screen where the little boy is reading under the tree, and kindle is ever so lightly apparent in the background.

I have tried restarting it multiple times, have charged it fully, have tried restarting it with and without the cord plugged in and nothing. All it does after the twenty/thirty seconds of holding down the power button is it's gone black, turned black, gone blank again, then returned to the picture of the boy under the tree.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong, or what I can do to fix it; help me, please?
