What is the reading order for the Vampire Diaries?

Can somebody please help tell me what the reading order is of the books? I wanted to start, but they have a different series on goodreads. So I don't know where to start.

How to feel about fan fiction?

Most professional writers feel that it is a complete waste of time, and copyright, and blah, blah, blah.

I personally feel that it can be a great way to develop your writing skills, have somewhat of a support system, etc.

Feel free to share fan-fictions you have read that truly do feel like a novel; or ones that you feel have matured with the writer.

Do you feel writers project themselves in fan fiction, or are they telling a story?

Is fan fiction "creepy?" I think it is when it is about pop-bands, or real people, but fictional characters?

Additionally, if you have heard of it, what do you think of Kindle Worlds?

If you write fan fiction, do you read it? How do you feel it differs? The desperation of wanting reviews, not caring at all, or being annoyed when writers ask for them.

Before ff.net, among other sites in general, do you think fan fiction has been going on for a long time?
(IE; Non-existence with copyright laws, or just general curiosity to write a story how you think it should be written.)

In your opinion, can a story "continue on" after the series has been finished?

What service is best to purchase digital movies and tv shows/series?

So I would like to purchase movies and televison shows/series and have the availability to download them. Google Play you can download them to your mobile device, but cannot store them on an SD Card or your cloud. In addition you cannot download them to your PC/Mac. Amazon is the same, but you can only download to Kindle Fire or Apple devices. Their excuse is that they worry about piracy However, that just causes the desire to pirate it more even higher because you do not technically own it. Basically you are renting the movie for full price and if they ever remove it you are S.O.L.

My question is if there is a service where you can purchase shows or movies legally and download them to your computer or whatever you desire? It saves time from having to rip to your computer, edit the series into different files. Than upload to the cloud (own a 3TB personal cloud)

Buying a Kindle gift card-which email to use?

Hello, I am looking to purchase a gift card for my father's Kindle. I do not know which email address his Kindle is registered to, and he is also unsure. I can see on the device settings what his 'Send-To-Kindle email' is.
My question is, if I am sending a gift card to this Kindle via email, can I use his 'Send-To-Kindle email'? (This is an @kindle.com addresss.) Or do I need to know the original email the device was set up with?
I don't want to buy a gift card and for him to be unable to use it because it was sent to an email not linked with the Kindle!

Good tool for splitting tinder?

Okay, so I went to a 3 week wilderness camp in January and I'm going back in March as a counselor this time. The counselor I was with had a condor boom slang ( http://www.condortk.com/productos-detalle.php?producto=38&cat=13 ) for splitting firewood into smaller pieces for kindling. I dont particularly feel like spending $130 on a tool thats gonna get beat to heck. I was considering a machete just to split tinder but I feel like that may be too thin? Why doesn't our Facebook app work on our home Wi-Fi?

Wife and I both have galaxy s3. ATT home internet, FB will not update on our home Wi-Fi. If we go out and log onto another Wi-Fi, it works perfect. Android is updated to 4.4, latest FB versions, have cleared cache, unloaded and reloaded the app. All other apps work normal on our home Wi-Fi. Fb works fine on phone if I go onto internet version, but app is completely useless. Also noticed I have same problem with FB app on my kindle hd. What gives? All other computers in house wOrk fine with the Wi-Fi as does everything on our phones, except phone and kindle Facebook apps.
