Recurring dream from childhood 'til now?
As the title says, this is a recurring dream I've had since childhood that occurs every few months.It's not a moving dream; instead, it's more of a 3D snapshot of an event.
The dream is about Joan D'Arc, or at least what my mind wants to interpret.It's a snapshot of her leading a battle near a city that I can't recognize, but it has always been in one of two perspectives.
The city in the background is in ruins and ablaze; soldiers charging forward and dead laying at their feet. Joan is standing with a stern face (perhaps determination?) with flagpole steadied in one hand and sword (rapier as far as memory serves) pointed towards the adversary in the other. She has short-cropped hair, shining, yet dented armour, and is always wearing a blue-white combination of colors. I remember distinctly the sight of kindled ashes riding the wind and her left foot propped up on a small mound of rubble.
The second perspective is much the same, only it's from her point of view. I remember seeing the point of the sword aimed to the heart of the opposing general who I cannot see clearly. The enemy is in mid-charge toward me and out of my peripherals, I see the dead at my feet and my soldiers going forward to meet them.
Yes, I do play video games and read lots of fantasy/ sci-fi. However, I must state that this has been recurring since I was 8yrs of age as I have been keeping a journal of such dreams and thoughts. Can anyone help me to decipher what this dream means?

Did horrible on my state test really depressed? - 1
Im in 8th grade and i take the meap … Meap is for Michigan and it is the state standardized test. I usually do okay. I got ALL A'S this semester. I Always get good grades with mostly A's and some b's. I was so happy yesterday!!! At lunch i got a certificate and this gift card for getting all a's.In 4th hour my teacher told us we did really good on the meap AND that some of us kicked it butt! I was really happy… i was hoping i was one of the ones who kicked its butt. That high from 4th hour and lunch kept me going til the pep assembly. I am usually quiet in school, but i was so happy that i even got in on all the yelling. When it was time to call names for who did good and who significantly improved in reading and or math I was like so giddy. The thing is some people got kindle fires for being the best in the grade. Okay i didn't win one… no big deal. I am usually get advanced on reading on my meap test..but im just like okay no big deal someone did better than you. That wasn't it though.It was time to give certificates for significantly improving. I did really horrible in math i got below proficient. I was really sad last year when i got my scores, but i told myself last year i will do better. I didn't get a certificates :( So the thing is i DIDN'T significantly improve in math and that means i did really horrible. I didn't even get my meap scores, but when i took the test for the math one i was really worried and didn't feel like i learned what they was asking me. Lately i have been feeling dumb in math and everything. That is why i was so happy when i got my report card. I am really sad and depressed and all i wanted to do was cry. I was sad thru the shaving of my principal head (it was a bet that if the 8th grade can beat last year scores (which were record high in recent year) we could shave his head. We beat it !!! ). I was sad thru 30 mins of dancing and everything. I was sad when i came home. I was sad on my WAY home. I am still sad today. School is all i have. I'm not the prettiest and not the talented. I barely have any friends-but that is another story for another day. I'm still really bum about this. I feel REALLY stupid. Christmas is like 4 days away and i not feeling very merry.

Should it matter how well a gift is wrapped?
My girlfriend and I exchanged gifts today because she's leaving to be with her parents for Christmas. I thought she'd be excited because I got her a Kindle Fire HD, which she's been saying she wants. Instead she blew up because I suck at wrapping. She said it's like I didn't even try, and that it shows a lack of concern about her on my part. Honestly WTF. Yeah I could have paid someone at the mall to wrap it for me I guess and it'd be all wonderful, but why the hell should it even matter? I mean she was downright upset and acting like this was a sign I didn't love her.
Is she just nuts? Is this some crazy woman thing I'm unaware of? Or am I wrong and I'm a jerk because I used too much tape and didn't cut in straight lines. You tell me.

I have a computer which is connected to my wireless internet router box, (this is the computer i'm currently using as of now), and i also have several other devices which connect to the internet wirelessly: 2 laptops, iPod touches, and a kindle fire, The devices i have just names will not connect to my router, The internet works fine on the computer which the internet is connected to but nothing else will work. My charging port is very loose and the charger wobbles around.My mom's Kindle Fire also has the same charging port problem. I've tried other chargers and it is definitely the port not the charger with the issue's. I currently have the Nook app for my tablet. I was thinking of getting a Nook Simple Touch as well, to carry with me, use at work, etc. But when I looked at a Nook in the store last night, I was a little dismayed to see that, instead of the animation that mimics an actual page turning, the page does this flashing thing that I know I would find distracting.So I'm wondering about the Kindle Paperwhite. I want an ereader for x-mas!
I want an ereader and mp3, but my mom (single mom) has a $100 budget. I saw the Visual Land Prestige 7 tablet at Best Buy and Walmart and really like it. I know it is not the best but can play music read pdf edit and read microsoft word, excel, etc. 8gb memory 5gigs cloud memory, 32gigs expandable memory. The kindle app even comes preinstalled.

Ok so im comming to a point in my life where i have to choose where i want to live. I've really narrowed it down to staying here in northern PA and moving down to Miami, Fl. I am completely stuck on which to choose because i love the open feeling of the country and the fact you can actually own large animals like horses and big dogs.but i also like the convenience that comes with a city and i've seen some Miami condos, and they are absolutely breath taking. Secret Santa Gift Exchange?
Hi everyone,
So I'm doing a Secret Santa Gift Exchange with 5 other best friends. We are all 23-25 with careers. We set a MINIMUM of $30 and agreed that we could spend as much as we wanted (no MAX limit). I wanted to get something useful for my secret santa. She already has everything and with her new job, she is constantly stressed. She loves to read so I was thinking of getting her a kindle fire as my gift so she can "escape" from reality. Kindle fires cost about $159… do you guys think this is rude? Especially for people who didn't spend as much? She is one of my best friends and I wanted to spoil her for the holidays because she's been through a lot this year and deserves it but I don't know if it's too much. Thoughts???

My mom just got a Kindle Fire HD and we cannot figure out where our apps are.
We click on them from the amazon website and it says we have them in our app library, but they aren't there!
Please help, we've restarted it and everything. We go to the other app store and try to get them from there but it tells us that we already own the app and to look for it in our library but they don't show up!

How to watch movies on a Kindle Fire?
I feel retarded asking this, but how? I found a movie i wanted to watch and i hit buy & it said i bought it(its even in the main area where all the other things i've downloaded/bought are, but when i click on the icon, it'll bring me to the screen where i can buy/rent it. I don't know how to actually WATCH the movie. i have the options to buy, rent or watch the trailer, but not watch the actual movie. My budget is $300 and I'm debating whether I should get the Kindle Fire or the Transformer. Right now Amazon is offering $50 off for the Fire but it lacks a rear camera and the apps are really limited. I feel neglected by my family?
This situation has been going on for a while. Well first off, I have a little brother who is 9 and I'm 14.My brother is obviously my dad's favorite so he gets all my dads attention and my mom seems as if she can care less about me. I told my mom how I feel neglected and she just shrugged it off and said "mhmmm" and when I tell my dad that I feel neglected or that he obviously loves my brother more he just laughs and also shruggs it off. If I do ask to go they always make up an excuse of why I cant come such as " Oh, we are just going to the store" or "We're just going someplace boring" Whenever I do tag along though I always feel ignored and not wanted.My mom spends all her time at home doing absolutely nothing. Whenever I say something about school to them they seem to not care or have something more important to deal with. For example, when my brother and I get out report cards, he gets all the praise and I simply get a pat on the head considering the fact that my GPA is always 3.5 or higher. And my brother's report card is crap compared to mine. Also whenever my brother asks for something he gets it in an instant but when I ask I get a lecture about how I should be more grateful. For example, for Christmas my brother asked for a Kindle Fire + more and when I wrote my Christmas list consisting of a curling iron, one pair of shoes, a phone case, and money I get told I am an ungrateful brat! If I get a Kindle Fire HD, will my app data transfer from my Fire?
I want to buy myself a Kindle Fire HD, but I have many apps on my Fire that I'm far into. Will my save data will be saved from the Fire to HD? Thank you.

Some publishers like Blurb.com offer 50% of sales (after payment processing fees) via Apple. I hear it's difficult to be accepted by Apple as a direct seller though I understand it's getting easier.
Also once you are signed with a seller for say, Apple, does that mean you can only work with them (ie: Blurb) or can you sell through others, too?

I want to be on all of them - Kindle, Nook, etc.but wondering whether to sign with a seller like Blurb who will sell on Apple for you but take a percentage but deal with the technical uploads, etc, and wondering if it's worth it to sign with them AND does it preclude me from signing with another seller for Apple or do I become exclusive to one seller like Blurb and cannot then sell on Apple myself?
