Could I go to court over this?

On Craigslist I sold a MacBook to someone a few states away. The agreement we made was $500, a Kindle, and iPad 3.
The buyer sent me the $500 over Paypal (and it cleared; no problem there) and I shipped them the MacBook. Then they told me they had shipped the Kindle and iPad.
It's been a few months… I haven't recieved either, and they aren't responding to any emails.
Is there any way I can pursue this?

I'm Having Problems with Amazon Kindle Download! HELP!

Well you know that I already downloaded it.So I'm trying yo get a book like "a free book" you know just testing it out, I don't want to make anymistakes if you know what I mean.

On the Kindle PC, I tryed to look for a book but nothing.So am I doing anything wrong?

I know that you can go on amazon from Kindle and get free books, but I decided to do it through my computer aswell. But everytime when I try to download it keeps telling me to download again. Its annoying. Can someone help me please.

My kindle app seems to be having connectivity problems.?

I just got an upgrade from y service provider. I now have a Galaxy S3. I've been able to connect and reset all of my other apps, but kindle is being especially difficult. Normally, what happens is: I upgrade my phone, the kindle app tells me to register, I do so, but it then redirects me to the login page, and everything goes uphill from there.

Well, what's happening is: the app tells me to register, I do so and press the "Register" button and this note pops up: "No Internet Connection: Please check your Wi-Fi or Mobile Network connection and try again."

Well, I'm connected to my wi-fi. I don't really know what the deal is with the Mobile Network Connection, though. Could you explain that to me and could you explain why my kindle app won't connect???

Why does my kindle app not work on my android tablet?

I recently got a new android tablet and uploaded a kindle app.At first the app worked perfectly, but after i updated it, it does not work. When i try to open it, it either freezes, closes and if it does open ita asks for my account information, but then it turns gray and then closes. Now that books are going electronic, it seems that the days, of beautiful artwork are going the way of the dinosaur.

My question is: WHY?

Why have electronic readers CHOSEN to abandon the beauty, of cover artwork?

Would it really be so "impossible" to include cover art on downloaded books?

If a complete lack, of artistic expression, is to be the "future" of reading, then would this be the same as that famous song, which says "All in all, your just another brick in the wall"?

What future is there, for imagination, when art is being abandoned, for technology?

I'm in love with my teacher?

I left a question recently about being in love with my teacher and the answers I got were: I needed to find something about him that I don't like, I needed to find a distraction, etc. I can't stop loving him, I understand that. But, by trying to forget about him, I have fallen more in love with him… In my eyes he is perfect. I told my best friend that when I fell for him, I fell for all of him. He is weird, loud, crazy, he makes unattractive faces and noises… But none of that seems to bother me. And with any other guy it would irritate me.

Recap: I am 17, he is 41… He is married, three kids (one is older than me), he is my teacher.

It's spring break now. But while school was going last week, I left for a drama trip and I didn't get to say goodbye to him. I made this a big deal because I wasn't going to see him for three weeks because of another trip I am taking after spring break… So I was super sad, and I missed him everyday. I stole a picture from his facebook so I could feel a little better while I was away… Of course it didn't work… I am back at home for now, and he is never not on my mind. I have found myself crying all night and into the morning, getting no sleep, and holding myself back from crying during the day… Just last night I had his picture on my kindle and my kindle was placed on my pillow next to me. That was the most sleep I had gotten in a while.

Guys are starting to hit on me, but I turn them down because they aren't him. I get sick when thinking about being with someone else. I can't eat anything. When I think of him I am no longer hungry. I feel good and warm when I think of him. When I do sleep, I dream of his laugh and his smile, or I dream of us on cute dates. I seriously don't know what to do… Am I really in love. Or am I just crushing really hard? I know that this is not okay. But I can't help it.Am I in too deep? Am I going to have to have him reject me to realize that he doesn't love me back? But what if he doesn't reject me? He flirts with me all the time. I mean, I probably egg it on. His wife has gotten more possessive when I am around. And because he is my band teacher, I am around him a lot.

I know that this probably didn't make sense. But any answer is better than nothing. I am desperate.

Okay so I got some birthday money and I want to spend it. I really want to buy a tablet. I want a tablet that can type (so I can do my school papers on it sometimes), I can play games on when I'm bored, I can use the internet, and watch Netflix on. Now, I already own the iPhone 5 and laptop (not a good laptop) so do you think a tablet would be useful yes or no?

And I only have enough for a Kindle Fire HD 7 not an iPad, which is what I really wanted.Is the Kindle Fire like an iPad? If I get it, I won't be buying books or reading anything on it. I will just be using it for apps and internet. Would that make the Kindle Fire useless? Kindle Fire rooting process Issues?

I'm trying to root my 1st Gen Kindle fire and i think i'm doing it right. Instructions say i should go to devices and hardware and click the Kindle with a yellow exclamation point, but mine says its an android phone. I got the rooting tool to recognize it once, but i installed fire fire fire first and now its not detecting it.

Bored on an airplane ideas?

Tomorrow i am flying for a holiday from England to trinidad in the carribean and its a long flight and i am going to get bored my phone lasts only 4/3 hours i cant sleep on a plane i have my sister and my parents but they're going to sleep for most of the trip because they will be exhausted me and my sister cant sleep on planes for some odd reason but we are going to get bored and yeah any ideas i have no i pod or laptop or i pad all i have is a kindle and i am not allowed to bring it also the kindles charge does not last long either

What happened to my Kindle? - 1

Hi,

I used a Kindle (Those old black and white ones), and used it for almost two years from now. One day however, when I turned it on, the cover screen was just STUCK on the screen. And by stuck, I mean LITERALLY STUCK. I flipped through some pages of my e-book, and sure enough the cover screen returned, only in bits and pieces.So remember the cover where it showed all those birds? Imagine that, only parts of that picture were scattered all over the screen (making it look like a picture of road-kill).

So now, I've received a new Kindle, but I wish not to repeat the same stupid mistakes again.So, to do so, what exactly happened to my Kindle?

P.S., I leave the Kindle sometimes under my bed where it could be of near-reach.Is that something I shouldn't have done?

P.S.S., Yes, I've tried restarting it multiple times, only it left that picture of bird-roadkill on my screen.

My wireless devices won't connect to my router?

I just got an iphone and my parents came over and both have ipods but none of them can connect to my wifi. (including me) i enter the right password and it just shows the connecting sign with the circle thingymajigger (super descriptive, i know) but it doesn't connect.i've tried with the security settings as low as possible and my kindle can connect wirelessly but not these? Please help, thanks in advance.

In Search of A Missing Book About Talking Space Dogs?

Hey guys, I was on vacation last week and I was thumbing through the Kindle store trying to find a book to read. Along by search I found a book I can't remember the name of that I downloaded as a sample and removed from my device.

Basically, from what I can remember the cover is the back of a starship similar to the one picture, the title I'm pretty sure was a synonym to "Overshot" and begin with the letter "E." Basically, a guy is in a cryogenic chamber on a ship, doesn't wake up in time but insteads wakes up to talking dog aliens speaking broken english and then meets a blue-haired lady with a blue eyepatch and then a chimpanzee comes out.

I know it sounds ridiculous, and that's why I'm looking for it. Now that I'm back I wanted to show my roommates and friends but unfortunately I can't remember. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

New iPod touch or Kindle Fire HD?

My parents said i could get either but i don't know which to get.i like the iPod touch (it would be the 5th generation) because my old nano sometimes freezes so it would be nice to have a working ipod. But i also like the kindle because i also like to read.which should i get and why? thanks! :)

Where can I buy a Kindle hinge assembly?

I want to make my own Kindle cover and would prefer to use the hinge assembly to secure the book. Does anyone know of a place to buy JUST the strip with the two hinges as a part?

Getting emails about Kindle downloads about a kindle I gave as a gift?

I bought a Kindle for someone and now I keep getting emails about things they have purchases. I have told the person and they don't know how to fix it. They reregistered to their own amazon account. How do I stop getting the emails?

I just bought the Kindle 6" E-ink display (black) for $69.Is it worth it? How long did yours last without any problems or before it just broke? I've heard of the screen just going black before and kaput that's it, so tell me your story!

Time to back off on potty training?

We've been working on potty training my 3 1/2 year old son for almost 3 months and getting nowhere. He loves to sit on the potty because he gets to do special activities (coloring, books, games on kindle, etc.) and will sit for two hours if we let him! He gets a hershey kiss if he wets or goes BM in the potty. We use pull ups at nap and bedtime and he is usually dry when he gets up, and he tells us if he's wet his pants or when he actually goes in the potty, so he's showing all the signs that he's ready. However, he wets his underwear 3-5 times a day! I know I'm supposed to keep it positive, and my husband and I are really starting to get frustrated. Should I back off and try again later? Anyone use pull ups for potty training instead of big kid underwear? I know it's not best, but my floor and couches can't take much more scrubbing…
Added (1). Also-- he hasn't needed physical therapy, but he does have low muscle tone. Could this make the training harder?
Added (2). The low muscle tone was diagnosed by a physical therapist. She said it is only mild, so he does not need therapy.

So here is my question: i just bought a book off amazon, and the only digital option it gave me was a kindle edition.so i puchased it thinking it would allow me to download a pdf doc to my computer.well unfortunately it only looks like it wants me to download it straight from my kindle instead… well that's great except my kindle is probably over the pacific ocean about now.anybody know a way to download it to my computer?

Connect to wifi-password feild invalid?

I'm trying to connect to my parents wifi on my kindle fire and it won't let me. Its not telling me the password is incorrect, but rather the connect button is grayed out so I can't click on it and when I hit enter is pops up a messege that says "password feild invalid".My smartfone can't connect either.My devices connect on my home network with no issues and my fathers computer has no trouble but he doesn't know what to do about connectinf my devices. Any ideas anyone?

How to put my dvds onto the kindle fire hd?

I'm going on a long flight and thought that I could watch some films to pass the time. However, I can't find any way of putting my DVD's onto my kindle. Does anyone know how I could put films onto my kindle. Obviously I wont have internet connection so love film, Netflix etc.are out of the equation (I'm assuming). Anybody help?

What's the difference between a Kindle Fire and an iPad mini?

Today, we as third-generation American's know the sole differences between two products JUST by looking at one an-other. Our parents can't really tell the difference.My mother wants to buy a tablet. She wants to stay UNDER $400. I want to tell her the difference between an iPad mini and a Kindle Fire but she's not like me, she can't tell the differences but I wont really be able to prove it because I don't know much about the two products but I can tell that the Kindle is a low-grade product. (I know more about the iPad)

What are the dangers of jailbreaking my Kindle Fire?

I'm thinking about jailbreaking my Kindle Fire, but for one thing, I don't know how, and for another thing, I don't know what damage I could be doing. I want to jailbreak it so I can get new items in my Minecraft pocket edition, and also so I can add my own wallpapers. I heard I could brick my Kindle, but isn't that reversible? The Kindle Fire isn't charging? Update Discovery?

Sooo, I bought my kindle days ago and returned it today for the same reason. I realized the charger would only work when on idle. The kindle shouldn't be tampered with while being charged. For example reading, playing games or using the web. After charging, it may be interacted with.
