How to delete an e book from my Kindle paperwhite?

I tried to plug in my Kindle paperwhite to the flash drive(H) to
see the contents and delete one of the e books.
The computer says that the selected e book has been deleted but it is still there in my Kindle.
By the way this model of Kindle paperwhite has no button to delete anything. Does anyone know a way? Thanks.

Kindle Fire HDX 7 or books?

My friend recently told me that I should stop buying books off amazon as it can get pretty expensive with the amount of books I read (I also only buy slightly used or new). He recommended the Kindle Fire HDX 7" and I can't blame him. Looks great! My books do tend to crowd my backpack since they are over 1000 page long books (The Stand, The Shining, etc.) I also think having Internet Access would be nice. I only worry about the price and if it gets stolen. I mean, who's gonna steal a book but a tablet? They'll surely take it. Should I still carry books or buy the tablet for the internet access and slim-ish design?

I read that the Kindle Fire HD has the most powerful wifi antenna, due to having double antennas.

Is this true? Does it have a longer and more powerful wifi antenna then most other Tablets today?

How to take html from one website and put it in a simpler one?

I would like to reformat TextNow for my kindle's (not fire) browser. TextNow mobile is accessible on any of my window's/ubuntu computers. The mobile site is too advanced for the Kindle 3's experimental browser. So. The data from the TextNow website is easily accessible from my computer, but how do I retrieve texts on the kindle (knowing where in the html code each text is) and send messages from the kindle? If building a client of sorts out of html would be easy, just how do I embed sections of another website's codes?

Transfer books on kindles?

Ok, so my sister got a kindle in September. I got one at Christmas. We both have different accounts because we didn't know anything about transferring books at the time etc. So I was wondering, can I change to her account? If so, will my books be deleted? Would I be able to download the books from my account to my sisters? Will this cost anything? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance from a very confused 15 year old girl!:)

How to get WI-FI everywhere with my Kindle?

I may be buying an Amazon Kindle Fire HDX which offers 4g networking but I am not knowledgeable about how the Wi-Fi works on it. Firstly I am buying it for my mom who already has a samsung galaxy or some sort of smaller phone through Verizon.

I want my mom to be able to get internet almost anywhere she goes. And I saw someone using their phone as a Wi-Fi hub one time but I have no clue how that would work either. What are my options as there is no plan offered with the Kindle Fire where I am buying it.

I got this kindle keyboard (version 2.5.8) for my birthday and I've been trying to register it several times but I kept on getting the registration error message so I thought it was time to chat live with someone from Amazon. Android Tablet with Kindle app?

Hey guys! Not super tech savy here so need some help. I have an Android ICOO D50 tablet my bf gave me. I'm using the kindle app for an e reader (no cash for an actual kindle haha) and I just synced the tablet with my 2006 macbook pro. I don't have a micro SD card yet but I think I have like 6GB of space in the actual tablet. I want to buy books on the kindle app but after I do, how do I back the books up? Will they stay in the kindle app or can I back them up on my mac? I'm sorry if that question is confusing I'm just used to having iCloud to back things up and I don't trust any device that isn't made by Apple.

Kindle Fire 2nd Generation power button weird?

If I tap it - no, brush it, it will either turn off or shut down.
If I press it (so there's an audible click) it will shut down or do nothing.
What happened? It's like my power button is now touch sensitive instead of turning off when I click it. Getting really annoying.
