Where do you pirate / download your books for free?

KAT and TPB failed me and all I'm running into are scam sites. I'm poor and can't really afford to buy books and the library is 50 miles away in a very bad part of town.

How to sell an PDF file? Is it even possible?

I have a few books here that are new and I wanted to sell them to other students for cheap. Because when I was looking for money everywhere, even under the couch, I couldn't find it. I ended up paying lots of money for them. I want to know if there is another way and if that information is correct?

Or is there a software I can buy that does it for me? I am thinking of scanning each page and going about it that way. I also want to encrypt it so whomever purchases can't re-sell it. S it even legal? If so where can I sell them? Your thoughts are appreciated.

So I found two articles that read like this,

Here's how I do it.

1. Open a PDF in Fox it PDF Reader. (free)

2. Select all the text.

3. Paste all the text in Ultra Edit. ($59)

4. Use the Reformat Paragraph function to remove the extra line breaks.

5. Spell check.

6. Use macros I created to create a table of contents and HTML.

7. Use [html2mobi.E.X.E] to convert to M.O.B. I format add book cover image.

Yeah, that's not e pub, but I've got a Kindle. Just change step seven to something else."

What to do on a road trip?

Tomarrow I'm going on a 3 hr roadtrip to a waterpark for vacation. I'm a 12 yr old girl so I won't be driving. I'm open from apps to play on my iPod touch or kindle fire to games and stuff to bring to keep me occupied. I'm the only one sitting in the back row so I can't really play some thing that requires an object to play that can't be passed around.

I'm open to all suggestions.

What was real cause(s) of wind death?

I have a kindle 4th generation and whenever i hold it it starts skipping pages even if i'm not pressing the button and if i try to go back pages it just stays on the page it skipped to

How to hard reset a Kindle Fire HD when I can't access the settings?

A friend gave me her frozen Kindle Fire HD (7 inch). It powers up to the lock screen, but when you slide to unlock, it freezes. Every single time. I want to do a hard reset and see if erasing everything from the device helps. All the tutorials I've found online only tell you how to hard reset from the settings menu, which of course, I can't access from the frozen lock screen.

Is there another way to hard reset the device physically? Many electronics devices allow you to reset via a certain combination of button presses, etc. Is there any way to do that with the Kindle Fire HD? And if not, what are my options for resetting it?
Added (1). And having Amazon replace it isn't an option. It's no longer under warranty.
Added (2). And I've also tried the thing where you hold down the power button for 20 seconds. Tried several times, actually. Still nothing.

Where can I read the books of Ed and Lorraine Warren?

I've read Annabelle on Amazon Kindle, however they don't have ebooks of any of their other books: "Ghost Hunters: True Stories From the World's Most Famous Demonologists", "The Haunted: The True Story of One Family's Nightmare", and "Satan's Harvest".
Is there any valid links to the PDFs or any place to buy the ebooks (of get them for free) ? I'm sure they'll be re released soon due to the popularity of their story brought about by The Conjuring's success. But right now its near $100 to buy hard copies, which is out of my budget.

Have you ordered goods from Groupon before?

I ordered a Kindle Fire HD Otterbox case from Groupon Goods July 3rd and it has been 5 days since and my order still says awaiting fulfillment. I assume this means it has not even been shipped. The same day I ordered Kindle Fire HD from another website in which has been shipped and is on its way! Mistakenly I thought they would arrive around the same time, apparently not. Have you ever ordered Groupon Goods… Did the order take forever to deliver? Also have you had bad experiences with Groupon? This was my first and last time ordering from them ever.

Is my internet speed fast?

Hey, I was wondering, my friends seem to think I have a quick internet. I have a feeling it is just because I seem to live in a better environment than them. I have an Actiontec MI424 WR Rev.E router which is my original FIOS router. Mainly the only things constantly using the internet is my iPhone 5S, Computer and my mothers Kindle Fire HD. I have just used Ookla Speed Test on my computer and according to Ookla my download speed is 58.44 megabytes per second and my upload speed is 39.06 megabytes per second. My computer is connected to my router/modem (dual) with an Ethernet cable if you were wondering yet I also connected it via WiFi at the same time. My ping is 17 ms. To put things into perspective, my iPhone 5S with 4G LTE ran at 40.39 megabytes per second download speed and 14.49 megabytes per second upload speed. It seems fast but I just need to know why it is faster than most of my friends. Anyways, thanks for the help!

How to clean this burn mark out of the carpet?

So I put a piece of kindling in the fire but it was too big to shut the door, so I left it slightly open to hold the kindling in the fire. I left it, it was a stupid thing to do, and something was burning, it was the carpet, and it left this mark. Any ideas as to how to clean or rid of it?

So I'm going to college in the fall, and I want to get a tablet/kindle. I want the kindle because it doesn't hurt your eyes when you read; and I want to download my textbooks. Why do I need a credit card number for a free book on Kindle Fire?

I just tried to get Les Miserables on my Kindle Fire and it won't let me. It keeps giving me the error message 'purchase invalid', or whatever and says I need a credit card. To get a F R E E damn book. Why is it not letting me get the book? I have an Amazon account, but not a credit card.

Dell Inspirion 6400 Wii connection problem, AES: Key Absent?

-WHAT'S HAPPENING-
Whenever I try to connect to my Wirless through the Dell Wirless WLAN Card Utility, it says "Authenticating" and the Encription Type says "AES: Key Absent"

I put in the correct password.

I got a new router.

The issue is still occurring.

I tried hooking it up with an Ethernet cable, but nothing happens and the router 's "Ethernet" light does not come on.

The WiFi works well on my Kindle, iPod, and other devices.

-QUESTION TIME-
So what I'm really asking is the following:

What does "AES: Key Absent" mean?
How do I resolve this issue so that the laptop will connect?
Is there a way to manually hookup the router without searching for it wirelessly?

Is this an appropriate amount of freedom to give a 9th grader?

She has a cellphone and carries it everywhere. She is allowed to walk from school to a small local restaurant and to the coffee shop. If she chooses to go get coffee or food after school, she must be with at least one or two friends. She is allowed to wear makeup, but only mascara,lip gloss, and neutral eyeshadow. She is allowed on the laptop, and her kindle fire or phone as long as her chores and homework are done completely. She is allowed to walk or ride her bike around our neighborhood alone. She is allowed to stay home alone for 4 hours max. And can not go further than the front porch. She is allowed 1 soda per day. She is allowed to walk around stores by herself as long as she has her phone.So what do you think,a good amount of freedom or to much?

How to download an ebook onto your computer from amazon.com?

I have a nook and there is a book i want to read that is not on the Barnes and Noble nook store. The only way i can get it is to download it onto my computer and then drag it onto the nook. I have done this before with iTunes eBooks. But this book also happens to not be on iTunes store. When i go to download the book on amazon it wants me to download it straight to a kindle. I don't see where i can download the eBook straight to my computer. Please help.

Can i do this in a gothic story about vampires?

so for my A level English literature class my teachers thought it would be funny to get us all to write our own story. I cannot write and I know nothing about vampires and stuff so I went with this storyline:
a boarding school where the head teacher is a vampire and has got the heads of departments under a trance or spell where every night they go out and kill people and bring them back to the cellar of one of the boarding houses where the head teacher will then drink the blood. In the day everyone is normal and but one of the students finds out about this society one night. She realises they are in a trance and so her father kills the head teacher by stabbing him in the heart and cutting off his head (that's how they do it isn't it) so she doesn't have to. The teachers come out of the trance and everything is back to normal.

can I do this? Like the vampire putting a spell on the teachers to do his work for him?
oh yeah and if you want to read this terrible story it will be on Kindle when I have given it in. YAY -_-
