Kindle account on android tablet?

I have an Android Tablet which is functioning properly except-----I have a Kindle account for which I can access my book library fine, but cannot open any of the books. When I click on the title image in my library, the device goes to a blank screen, then sits there blank until I backpage where it goes back to the kindle home page Help!

Which is more sturdy and won't give me a problem in the future? Kindle or Kobo?

I want to purchase an e-reader. But it should be sturdy. I want to use it for years. I don't want it to get spoiled or break or anything. Kindle is a renowned company. And Kobo is (I think) a Chinese brand? If not then I feel it's not as good when speaking of the hardware.

Can someone having a Kobo please tell me about your experience with it? Does it last years?

The Simpsons Tapped Out loading screen on the Kindle Fire! WHY DOES IT SUCK?!

The Simpsons Tapped Out is crap on the kindle fire. Well, ad least when you wanna load the game. It keeps saysing the its not responding! Makes you wanna break your kind fire! Anyone else has this problem?! How do you fix it? Its like the game on the Kindle Fire does NOT wanna play.

Need to get movies from external hard drive to Kindle?

So I'm actually doing this for my boss. He's got all these movies on his external hard drive in files. They don't even have anything to play them. Now I need to get the movies from those files onto his kindle fire hd. Tried converting files to divx but sound didn't work and it separated the whole movie into 5 different divx files for no reason. Tried using free make video converter. As for sound I played it through VLC player which worked but then I've got no idea how to get that onto the Kinlde. Need this by end of night, 5 diferent movies. Someone please help me before I lose my mind.

I want to link my email account to a Kindle but need my incoming and outgoing server settings. I'm being asked to select either IMAP or POP3. No idea which is right. I'm being asked for both inocming and outgoing server settings and have no idea what they are our where to find them. Am being asked which port number and I have no idea about that either! Help!

Is it ethical to talk about information in a book that hasn't been published yet?

I helped proofread a short religious paper written by a friend of mine and he is going to have it sell it through Kindle once he gets some details worked out. I am having a conversation with some people on a facebook group and we are talking about the very things my friend has written on. Naturally, my the views of my friend are going to be at the forefront of my mind since I just proofread his essay for him and he made some good points. Since the paper hasn't been published yet, would I be infringing on some sort of copyright law? I know my friend and he would never copyright his material, but I want to be a good friend and I don't want to share his ideas with other people from a yet-to-be published essay. I would feel safer if the essay were currently published, then I could just say "Read this man's article on the subject for more info."

Amazon Kindle: Exceed number of devices?

I currently use Kindle for my android phone, and have previously purchased a number of books. Today I tried to download a book and in the middle of the downloading process it says that I've exceed my device limit. I don't use any other devices, and I've tried deactivating my phone from the account but it didn't work. What can I try or do to fix it?

Home Network Monitoring by IP/Device Name?

I have recently cut the cable cord and have gone completely internet-based for my media needs. But now I need to watch the amount of bandwidth I'm using so my ISP doesn't start asking any questions.

Network map looks like this:

Linksys EA6900 Router
Windows PC x 5 (2 desktop, 3 laptop)
WD TV Live media player x 2
Roku 3
Xbox 360
1TB Mybook World (White Light)
3TB MyBook Live
iDevices x 5 (3 i5s, 1 i4 and an iTouch)
Kindle Fire HD
HP OfficeJet Printer

Is there a solution that can show me, preferrably in realtime, the bandwidth usage of each of those devices separately?

I consider myself technically savvy, but finding one that does not require WinPCap or some other software to be installed on the devices themselves has been difficult. And the ones that I have found that don't seem to work with anything else than a recognizable workstation or OS.

Also, I realize this is a tall order and most likely falls under the "enterprise" category of software, so I'm aware that money may be involved. My main concern is being able to monitor the band with of the WDTVs and the Roku (but all is ideal), as those will be streaming media… Alot.

I dropped my Kindle HDX and the sound is destroyed?!

This tablet was newly bought on Saturday but not with a new case, so I still have my Kindle Fire case. Today, in class, I only dropped it about a foot from the carpet floor while inside the old case. I don't get it: it's not as durable as the Kindle Fire!

I was listening to a YouTube video just now and the speakers' sound was garbled and cracked. The sound only comes clear when it's 100% turned on.

Do I have to buy another tablet? On the other hand, my mom is going to buy insurance for this later, so is this fixable?

I'm looking to buy a tablet next week (Android) Apple can do one as far as I'm concerned.

I will be using it mainly for internet browsing, netflix, ms office, FB/Twitter and taking notes in uni lectures. Basically light to medium use.

How much ram would you recommend, does Android OS require more RAM than other OS?

Also is a quadcore processor necessary for my needs

I can't remember the title or author of a book?

I saw a book in the kindle store a while back and now that I have money in my account, I can't find the book. It was about two people (i think they were teenagers) who survived a nuclear explosion but they are the only two left. The title had one of those yellow metal barrels with a biohazard symbol on it and it was sinking in a puddle of waste. I believe it was around $20 but I'm not positive. That is all I can remember about it and I tried websites like bookfinder and google book search but had no luck. Can anyone help me out?

How to root my Kindle Fire without a computer?

I just got my Kindle Fire a few weeks ago and I like it, but I really want to root it to make it more of a real android tablet. I want a new launcher and to be able to use the Google Play market. I have a computer, but I'm fairly new to rooting and don't trust myself to do it without bricking the device. Kindle Paperwhite battery life?

I bought a Kindle Paperwhite around two weeks ago, because I've read on Amazon about its impressive battery life that can last for more than a month. But so far I'm not seeing it. I have the lights on around 10, and I keep the wifi on all times. I turn off the screen when I don't use it, but I still have to charge every two to three days, which is far from what they mentioned on the website, and it's brand new too! I only have like 20 books or so. The thing is, now that I'm on spring break, I do read a lot, like 8 hours a day. I also charge on my computer because I like to organize my library while it's charging instead of charging with a mains socket. Is this the reason why my Kindle is draining battery like crazy? How long is its batteries supposed to last (I know what they say on the website is not usually true), and what can I do to extend its battery life? Thanks

Yeah I recently bought a 32g pny flashdrive but I didn't realize it was too small to be compatible with the cord that came with my Kindle Fire but I threw away the box. Anyway does anyone know if I can return it without the box but with the receipt?

Kindle fire apps won't update?

I've had my kindle for several months now, and out of the time I've had it, my apps on it have only updated TWICE. It's now to the point I can't use any of my apps bc all my apps need to update. I've asked several people about it and they have no idea. It's literally driving me crazy, someone help me with my problem!
