Firewood is hissing and not burning well?

Bought a cord of firewood from a reputable seller. I was not there or would have not picked eucalyptus but that is what my mom was talked into. Now it is requiring massive amounts of kindling to stay lit and the wood is hissing while burning, something I have never heard in my life.

I am in California and the wood was purchased before our current big storm, so it didn't get rained on all that much. Is this uncured? Is this unusual for wood purchased from reputable source? (i.e. Actual firewood dealer, not just someone's backyard tree). Should I complain?

How do you Transfer videos/pictures from the Kindle Fire HD 7 to a computer?
Added (1). I took pictures and a video from my Fire HD 7 but I want to transfer it to my computer. How do I do that? What I tried doing was plugging the USB port to my kindle and computer but when I click important pictures and videos, it says that there is not pictures or videos found in this device. Then I tried open device to view files but there was nothing in it.

I've seen that Sony's allow increasing of decreasing the font size, which is great, but not the Kindle, making it really annoying it to read pdfs.

How to read the original Batman comics?

I have a stack of great Batman comics from the 1980's that follow the original series, but I'm wanting to read the comics from the beginning in the 1940's. I can buy them individually on Kindle, but I prefer to have physical copies. Anyone know an affordable way to get a good amount of the original comics from #1 and onward? I'm not after original prints either, of course. I'm after reprints.
