Why am I getting depressed over her?
There is this beautiful woman that I was once romantically and sexually involved with. Recently our paths crossed again and it brought back all the feelings I had for her. However it seems like she might not be interested in "re-kindling" the flame. I'll move on if I have to, but it's making me depressed that I can't be with her again, because I really do love her I think.

What's the name of the man/woman who does this kind of job. I am new to writing, and I am in the process of writing a book. But I want to make sure that my grammar is correct before I publish on kindle.

Is a Kindle Fire HD worth it?
I am interested in getting one of these, but I think it is a little strange to have a book that runs on batteries. I have grown up most of my childhood without a Kindle, using the old-fashioned paperbacks and hardcovers. However, it does get annoying to over-stuff my shelves with books.
What do you think? Also, is it more than just an electronic book (like an iPad or something)?

Why is my Kindle Fire screen black?
I have a Kindle Fire. Today, I was playing a game (Doodle Jump) and turned off my kindle after I had finished without going back to the home screen. When I turned it back on, it was frozen on the scoreboard for Doodle Jump. The screen was not responding. Then a message box popped up, saying it was not responding and "Would you like to wait or Force close?" I clicked wait, because that usually works, but it didn't. The message box popped up again, asking me the same question. I forced close, and the screen slid to the right, as if it were going back to the home screen. Strangely, it didn't. Where the home screen usually would be was a black screen. I waited awhile, but it did not change. Finally, I pressed the power button. The opening screen popped up and I slid the bar to the right and typed in my password. The screen only revealed blackness, again. I waited a few seconds, but when nothing happened, I pressed the power button. Nothing. I held down the power button, and pressed it several times, but nothing happened. Now the screen is glowing but its blacked out. What do I do?

I bought a tablet with Android OS 2.3. How do I upgrade it to a newer version?
I bought a tablet with Android OS 2.3. How do I upgrade it to a newer version? The Android Market (Would like Google Play instead) is already installed.It does not list any newer apps such as Angry Birds, Kindle e-reader, or Pandora. Even when I attempt to install a generic app from Market, it responds with unsuccessful. I am guessing I need an upgrade, but not sure. When I go to Settings>About device>Install update… It ask if I want to install from SD card of NAND storage. I am new to this. Any information would be greatly apreciated. This is intended for a Christmas present.

Why won't my Kindle fire charge? - 1
I have tried 10 different outlets, 6 different chargers, and usb on the computer BUT IT WILL NOT CHARGE! I've had it plugged in for TWO HOURS and it is still too dead to even turn on. I called tech support and some hadji told me to buy a new one. PLEASE HELP!

I am looking for tablet under $150 for my Dad for Christmas. He was always tech savy when he was younger, but has faller behind in the times. I am considering purchasing this tablet but I am not clear as to if it has a usb port. I am not computer savvy but I have done some research and found this one is in line with the apple ipad. Along the way, he wrote seven epistles. Six of the letters were addressed to various churches and the seventh to Polycarp, bishop of Smyrna (Lightfoot, p. 97). What follows is short excerpts from four of these letters, as they are too long to post.
To the Ephesians: Ignatius opens his first epistle by telling the Ephesian church it is ".. . united and elect in a true passion, by the will of the Father and of Jesus Christ our GOD" (introduction). He commends them for ".. . having your hearts kindled in THE BLOOD OF GOD" (1:1 compare Acts 20:28).

"From that time forward every sorcery and every spell was dissolved, the ignorance of wickedness vanished away, the ancient kingdom pulled down, when GOD appeared in the likeness of man unto the newness of everlasting life" (19:3).
To the Romans: Ignatius opens this letter, ".. .to the church that is beloved and enlightened through the will of Him who willed all things that are, by faith and love toward Jesus Christ our GOD. .. . abundant greetings in Jesus Christ our GOD in blamelessness" (introduction).
In the epistle, he writes, "Permit me to be an imitator of the passion of my GOD" (6:3). Note: Passion means, "The sufferings of Christ in the period following the Last Supper and including the Crucifixion" (American, p. 907). Remember, Ignatius is on his way to Rome to be executed.
To the Smyrnaeans: Ignatius begins this epistle by exclaiming, "I give glory to Jesus Christ the GOD who bestowed such wisdom upon you" (1:1).
To Polycarp: Ignatius tells Polycarp, "Await Him that is above every season, the Eternal, the Invisible, who became visible for our sake, the Impalpable, the Impassible, who suffered for our sake, who endured in all ways for our sake" (3:2). Note: Impalpable means, "Not perceptible to the touch: intangible. Not easily perceived or grasped by the mind" (American, p. 644; All quotations of Ignatius are from Lightfoot, pp. 137-162).
This man was a disciple of the Apostle JOHN, John instructed and ordained him. Why should I believe a cult, when those who had seen the Lord and lived with him and were hand picked by him, declared that he was the ONE GOD in the flesh of man. Scripture affirms it.
Around 155 AD, Polycarp of Smyrna, ".. . was burned at the stake, dying a heroic martyr for his faith" (Moyer, p. 331). Thus, both Polycarp and Ignatius were executed for their Christian faith. Both were disciples of the apostle John and both called Jesus GOD.

I never owned a tablet or even played around with one. I am new to this + hope I can understand it.Is the instructions easy to follow?
Are there free games where I don't need internet? I am on above ground train 2 hours daily.
What about internet, I have to be somewhere that has WiFi- but so many is password proteceted-Is there a way to still get internet access if I am out. Maybe at auto repair or resturant?

Kindle Paperwhite vs Kindle Paperwhite 3G?
First things first, I only want to read books. I don't need games or apps or anything, just books. Please don't advise me to get an iPad or other tablet for those reasons. I have an iPhone 5 that can do all of that for me already.
Okay now, I'd like to know if you need an Internet connection just to read books? Say I was out at the park where there is no wifi. Would I need the 3G to read them? Or is it only needed for going online to the Amazon store? Basically, do I need 3G or a wifi connection to access and read only my books?

Kindle Fire HD vs iPad Mini - Coupons to use? - 1
I want to buy a tablet for my son. His birthday is coming up right around Christmas time so it gives me the excuse to get him 1 gift for 2 occassions.
Right now, I am thinking about getting the Kindle Fire HD because it is cheaper. Amazon is a good company too. But everyone likes Apple alot.

Best tablet for older people?
My mom is pushing 60, but seems much older than that with the amount of help she needs from me. She wants a tablet, and I'm trying to find the best one for her.
She has an iPhone, so I'm considering either an iPad 2 or iPad mini because there won't be much that she will have to figure out or re-learn. I've also been looking at a Kindle Fire or an Asus Eee Pad Transformer, but I'm open to any other suggestions.
Cost is also something that I want to keep in mind because I am putting myself through college, etc., and I don't have a large amount of cash to blow.
Added (1). My mom has previously broken both wrists, so holding things can sometimes be a challenge for her. She'll be holding something, and her hands seemingly stop working, and she drops the item. Her eyesight is also really great--better than mine even--so I don't think the smaller screen would be a problem for her. Especially since she can see everything just fine on her iPhone.
I was already thinking it, but I'm glad to have a lot of other input--I think the iPad mini would be the best bet for her. She'll get a kick out of Siri and love FaceTiming.

On a road trip this very minute. Kindle fire is stupid!
I downloaded a rental movie last night.It's a 48 hour rental. I played a couple minutes of the movie to make sure it worked and everything was downloaded and it was. Now of course my family and I are on the freeway and I can't play my downloaded movie.It constantly says " this video cannot be played at this time. Please try again. If this problems persists see FAQ and Troubleshooting"
Normally movies always work why isn't it working now. Randomly none of my previous bought movies r working either. Nothing is working what do I do???

Just a quick question… what's the best file format to convert using Kindle's own automatic conversion software? Should I use a PDF, a.doc (word) file or use an HTML file when uploading the novel?
My novel is formatted fine in MS Word, but it's hard getting it right when I preview it on the Kindle.Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem? It has random line breaks where there shouldn't be, it also has irregular indentations (some bigger than others) and it just doesn't look very presentable.

I bought this book on kindle called "Summer with the Leprechauns" about how this lady had an experience with leprechauns in Ireland. I was just going to read it out of curiosity to see how crazy it was but my mom saw that I bought it and she goes "Noo don't read about Leprechauns. Leprechauns are demons. She was seeing demons." I'm not saying I believe in Leprechauns haha but what's the harm in reading a little book? I don't think demons are real, but can anyone provide me with an accurate answer?

I know how to get a PDF onto my Kindle device, but the PDF is always very tough to read.It will have small, nonadjustable font and really weird margins. How do I fix this so it is more readable?

How to turn down the brightness of my kindle fire screen?
I have papillademia (swollen optic nerve) I love watching movies or reading on my kindle, but the light of the screen is so bright it's killing my eyes! I had the same problem with my iPad but then I turned down the light on the screen and it's better an the same be done with my kindle. If so how do I do it?

Tablet help! been researching for weeks, still can't decide?
I like almost everything about the Sony Xperia tablet S except the price compared to what i can get from other tablets that price. The SD card slot (I've read you can get rather large SD cards in it as long as you format them to FAT32), splash resistance(kids in the house), and picture quality are the main points i like about it.
Kindle fire HD 8.9 looks very promising, but you are limited to amazon only. The screen sounds really nice on it.
Samsung galaxy note 10.1 interested me a ton until i had one in hand at best buy, it was very cheap feeling and the body was flimsy, i could see it bending in my hands with very little pressure. I like the 2gig of ram and I would have some use for the S pen. The front facing speakers are a bonus also, but I've heard their sound quality isnt so hot compared to others.
Asus would be fine, but everyone complains about their quality control. I also don't like the single rear speaker.
Nexus 7 seems just a hair too small.
Nexus 10 is google play only if you want to buy it (i can get a year no interest on every other tablet).
I think I've watched almost every video review out there, and have played with most of them in stores (although the stores usually have crappy wifi and no 3d games to really test them)
Just looking for input from people that own these tablets and see if they are still happy with their purchase.
Movie watching and gaming would be my main uses, I would do a bit of photo editing if i bought the note 10.1 but i can do it on my computer better, but it would be nice to touch things up in the field for previews. The Sony would be safer if the kids grabs it. Asus would be nice if I didn't have to worry about it falling apart. ;) Kindle HD would probably be on it's way to my house now if they didn't block google programs. I only have a handfull of paid apps on my phone, so switching over to the amazon system wouldn't be too rough, but I do use youtube a lot (no youtube on kindle) and amazon doesn't have as many apps. Prime movies sound nice though.

Why can't the kindle paperwhite browse the web anymore?

What am I doing wrong with my Kindle?
Kindle is able to be used as a book fine. When I go to Amazon on my pc I cannnot find records of my kindle purchases. I have not used this for over a month an am unable to remember exactly what I did. I was able to read my book purchases on my pc before from a downloaded app. Now ir seems there is no connection between my kindle and Amazon.

So I made some 412$ because I saved up over the summer and early christmas gifts. I already have iOS and bought over 300 songs already and over 30 apps paid, but the kindle fire is much cheaper and is a tablet with a bigger screen. (I want a case and screen protector)

Basically asking if they're the exact same dimensions. Or does a Nexus 7 have to have a Nexus 7 case? Just seems like the Kindle Fire has better looking cases. I also looked on Staples' site for cases and they all seem to be about 40 bucks. Can you get them any cheaper than that elsewhere? Getting a Nexus 7 for Christmas.

My vizio smart tv cant find my wireless network anymore?
It was working just fine and then my boyfriend mounted the tv onto the wall and now it wont connect to the internet or even show my network.ive tried entering everything manually, ive tried running the troubleshooter, nothing helps! it doesnt make any since my kindle, laptop, computer, and phone all work just fine? any ideas?

How much internet speed do I need?
Right now I am paying for 10M. I have a desk top, 2 laptops, PS3, Xbox, and a Wii. We use Netflix and Hulu. Sometimes we turn the wi-fi on our phones and I am getting a Kindle. I've been told 10M is too much, but seriously, we could be using 4-5 of the things I mentioned at the same time.

Kindle Fire 8'9 vs iPad 3rd generation?
I was debating between the two of these for awhile. Right now I have a iPod 4th generation so originally I was going to get the Kindle Fire 8'9. But I did some research and I found out the Kindle Fire 8'9 doesn't have very many apps compared to the iPad. What are some pro and cons for both the iPad and the Kindle Fire. I know that the Kindle Fire does not have a back camera, and I know that you can download movies and books on the Kindle Fire, but can't you do that with a iPad too? Also the iPad I was looking at was a 16GB which had a price of $449.00. A Kindle Fire is around 100 dollars cheaper? Why? Please comment which one I should get and why. Thank you.

I am going to cry now. I l really wanna read Access Denied by Denise Vega. I read Click Here and it was amazing. But I live in the Philippines, and the only reason I read Click Here was because scholastic came and had a book fair, and I'm afraid they're not going to anytime soon. What is the best tablet for older people?
We are getting my grandparents a tablet pc for Christmas. We are wondering what is the easiest and cheapest to use tablet.iPads are out of the question due to price. They need a front facing camera for Skype and a few old person games like suduko and crossword puzzles. The bigger the screen size the better because my grandpa had fat fingers. We are thinking of the kindle fire hd 8.9, if anybody has that please comment on how easy it is to use because I have never used one. Keep in mind they are not good at using technology and they are moving down to Florida so I will not be able to help them except over the phone so ease of use is important. Thank you.

Mobile hotspot? Having trouble?
I'm trying to connect my kindle fire to my mobile hotspot.It connects fine and says it's connected on my mobile device but on my kindle there it says connected but there is an x next to the signal symbol, even though signal strength says excellent.It won't let pull up any web pages either. How can I connect and use the internet, does anyone know?
