How to fix my phones for my kindle fire hd?

well i just got some new ear phones not to long ago. So i tryed them in my iPhone and they worked just fine. Then when i put them in my kindle they don't work at all. What should i do? Is there like away you can fix it or something?

What's wrong with my kindle?

I just found it I in my drawer like this and when ever I try to read a book, I can see the words fully because of the lines and stuff. Is there any way to fix this?

How did you begin to draw?

I started by drawing (er, attempting to draw) the character Max in from a manga I found in the Kindle Store. Then, after my mom found out my obsession with manga, she borrowed a few manga novels from the library (Rayearth 1 and 2, and one about a ten, maybe 11 year old vampire and her guardian). I really liked the pictures on the first few pages of the Rayearth books (the vampire one's art style was seriously hard to draw. T_T), so I drew them over and over again before I had the body shape and pose in my head, so I could draw it without the picture in front of me.

Finally, I started to draw by myself, without having a picture with me (unless I was drawing a canon character). But, all of my characters had the same pose and view, upper body with the arms behind the back. So, I tried to draw different poses… And all of them were horrible disproportionate. D:

Now (after, let's see, three years of practice?), I can draw very good people that are proportionate. :)

At Frys electronics they have the Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Fire (8gb) for 119.00 each. I will mostly be using it for reading but if the Kindle Fire is the same price as the paper white, it seems like I should just go for the Fire, right? Does the fire use more battery life? Is the Fire harder to read on? I am new to e readers so I thought I would get some advice first.

And basically… How does a Kindle work?

I am not an avid reader, even though I wish I was. I would like to purchase a Kindle so I can start catching up on some books, but I do not really know how a Kindle works.

Once you buy a Kindle, do you need to purchase something separately after that to be able to purchase books? Or do you need to be connected to wifi to read or purchase books? Also… I know there are commercials out there for the new Kindle paperwhite… How do I know which Kindle would be right for me?

Do you use your kindle 6 to read pdf files-ePub's?

I was thinking of buying the kindle 6" so I can take it to school with me to read fanfiction since fanfiction is free and I generally don't enjoy purchasing books. I have the kindle app on my ipad 2 but the words are small and it's annoying to zoom in all the time and then zoom out to turn the page (I don't want to take my ipad to school and have it stolen or get the screen cracked). So is the kindle 6" good for reading pdf files-ePub (what exactly is an ePub?) how many pdf files can the kindle hold or is it like 2,000 pdf files that it can hold like the books you can download from the store? Is the font size for pdf files on the kindle annoying? I don't want to waste $80 on something that won't work for what I intend it for. Thank you!

Can an email from a tablet be traced?

If someone were to send an email from an IPad or Kindle (or any kind of tablet) can that email be traced? I know this is a weird question but I am just curious because a friend of mine wants to send an anonymous message to someone and I don't want her to get in trouble.

Do you have this problem with your Kindle Paperwhite?

The other day I noticed a lot of grey dots on my new Kindle's screen (Paperwhite 2013). I tried to wipe them off, thinking that it was dust, but it turned out to be something from the inside. So I contacted Amazon Customer Support. They sent me a new one with Priority Courier and said I didn't need to return the faulty Kindle.

Today I received the new one and it's just like the other one (I have both in front of me). I know that other people have mentioned this problem on the internet. Is this an issue with all Kindles or should I ask for another replacement?

Kindle Fire HD 7 root access?

I received a Kindle Fire HD for free yesterday. As someone that absolutely detests fire os, I have been looking everywhere for a way to flash a custom rom to this bad boy. But, alas, I can't seem to find any clear answers on how to get root access.

ROMANCE ANIME EXPERTS NEEDED?

Hi, basically I want to watch a really good romance anime or film there are some boxes to tick first,

1) Has to be good romance, no ten minutes of high school fun, more like Clannad After Story - but not as emotionally draining

2) High quality images, nothing from the 90s I detest the quality from back then.

3) if it's an anime, please do not include ones with loads of action, and hardly any romance, none of the following, as I've seen them,

4) Has to be dubbed, or if it's a reallyyyyyy good one, subbed is fine, and easy to watch on a kindle as well, as in the player doesn't require flash.

Is it ok to use a PLR book as the base for an ebook on Kindle?

What i mean by base is changing the cover, title, flipping sentences, adding content, taking away content… Basically creating a new book but with some info from a PLR stated in a different way? Will Amazon ban you for this?

What's the point of libraries?

You can get any literature on-line nowadays! My mum, before she passed away, found talking books from her library a Godesend ten years ago. But nowadays anyone can download stuff like like that. There are thousands of FREE books on kindle, Mr Men is brought to life on a tablet. ETC ETC.

Aren't libraries just expensive, out-dated places these days?

What kindle should I buy based on my electronic preferences?

I have had a kindle keyboard 3G/wifi for over 3 yrs, and now it seems to have died. I'm very sad and mulling over which kindle would be best for me now. I love having 3G + wifi on my kindle and I love having 3 gigs of space. For those people out there who have kindles, which one would you recommend for me? I rather not spend over $200 for my unforeseen kindle purchase, if that helps. Also, please no one suggest I buy a nook. I'm not switching over to b&n. I have loved my kindle & fully intend to find a new one as I mourn my loss. Thanks for all advice!

Is there any benefit to having cookies enabled on your computer or Kindle?

First, I'm not computer savvy at all. Most of the time, I don't want cookies enabled. I feel that I don't want to have cookies because I don't want other people knowing what sites I've visited or what searches I've done. Sometimes I don't even know if cookies are enabled on my computer or Kindle. There's no privacy anymore!

Does anyone see any real benefit? Isn't it more of a risk to have cookies enabled?

Kindle Fire HD touch screen problems?!

I own a Kindle Fire HD and the touch screen is screwed up. Whenever I type anything, pressing one key presses that one plus some other keys (Ex:Pressing "A" and "A,B,C" appearing) Plus when scrolling web pages it goes up a bit when scrolling down. Is there a way to calibrate the touch screen (If that is a solution) or is there some other way to fix this?

Kindle Fire: How do I cancel downloads?

Such as, Dad asked me to download an audiobook but I thought he meant a movie on Flixter. We don't need to worry about refunds we were going to do it anyway, but the movie is going to take to long to download so I want to cancel and make it download at night so it slow down our WiFi. How do I get it to stop downloading without setting airplane mode?

How does Facebook (on PC) know Kindle activity?

I am not logged into facebook on the kindle. I have logged in once or twice on Kindle - always log out.
I am logged into Amazon on PC & kindle.
My amazon email address is not one I use a lot on my pc (not auto logged in; not on smart phone)

This is the situation: surfed web yesterday on kindle for online shopping. Today many of the different companies I looked at yesterday are showing as suggestions with facebook ads. I'm sure they haven't before. Some of the companies I never heard of until yesterday when googling.

Is it because of the home ip address was used for surfing on kindle and accessing fb?
