I understand that bbc iplayer uses the media player to run it whilst itv player needs the unsupported flash player. Is it likely or possible that the media player or something similar could be used to support the itv player?

Is this a good tattoo to get, considering my age?

- So I have an unexplainable love for English all sorts but the things I enjoy the most are reading and writing. I will never read books online or get a Kindle. They have to be real books, I like turning the pages and I just love books. It's my passion and I love to express myself through words in the form of writing.

- I suffer from depression, have since I was 9 years of age. And I know it's not just a teenage thing and people around me know it too.

- I've always wondered what the future holds, marriage, love, loss, happiness?

So the tattoo idea I have is an open book, some of the pages ripped and torn. But in nice writing in the middle of the book it's going to say: "There's still so much pages left to fill…" There's going to be kind of sparkle shapes around the book itself.
This tattoo shows my love for English, tells me that whenever I'm feeling down, there's still loads ahead of me and tells me that the future will always be there.

I'm 16 years of age and I want it on the back of my middle arm. What do you guys think?
Added (1). Oh and I'm also dyslexic, so I find it amazing that I can still be drawn to English. It's like my own little battle with it and I hope to kick it's ***!

So, I have Netflix and I really like it. However, I have heard that Amazon Prime Instant Video is a good contestant against Netflix. Not only do you get instant video but you can get free shipping, free Kindle books, and it's cheaper. So, I was wondering, which one is better?

Does Amazon Prime Instant Video have a lot of free videos (if you subscribe to Prime)? I was wondering because when I went through a list, a lot of them you had to rent or buy because they weren't "Prime."

Which tablet would be best for me? - 1

Hi, I'm a college student and I'm considering getting a tablet so I can get my textbooks in e-form (I think that's what its called). So yeah I know about the kindle fire, the iPad, he Samsung tablets but I don't know much about them in the tech department (I hope you get what I mean). So I'm not sure which one get, I know the iPad is the most popular because its an apple product but I don't want it just for that. I'm looking for one that allows me to read all types of books (textbooks & regular books for fun), one where I could go on the internet (has Wi-Fi/ hotspot), one that allows you to play games and watch movies, and go on tumblr and instagram etc. Also I would like one with a camera its not necessary but it would be a plus. Also I'm not sure if they do this but maybe one that's multi-screen so I can look at my textbooks and write notes at the same time. Sorry if it seems like I'm trying to get ya to shop for me but like I said I'm not up to date with all the technical stuff so your help would be really appreciated. I've been looking at the kindle fire HDX but I'm open to other options. Thanks for any help!

Kindle Fire HD vs Kindle Fire HDX?

In a few weeks I'm going to buy a Kindle Fire, however I'm not quite sure which model I should buy. I will mainly use it for reading, watching movies/shows from Amazon Instant Video, light gaming, and general wed browsing/e-mail. I know that the HDX is the better of the two, but is also more expensive. Now money isn't an issue, but I don't want to pay more for the HDX if the HD will fit my needs.

My kindle will not connect to wifi?

I have rebooted, tried to enter manually, tried to connect to a network that shows on my kindle all to no avail. It is currently not even SEEING my work WiFi but has connected to it for the past 3 years without issue, now all of a sudden it won't. Not sure if not having a full battery is the culprit, and I have not tried at home lately but will when I get home.
Added (1). it's a work router so won't be able to restart it, it's just very strange. It won't even connect to WiFi networks in the bldg that it can see and that don't require password. :(
Added (2). and I'm connected to the WiFi on my computer AND phone
so know it's working
Added (3). There is nothing to delete as it doesn't even see the network. My IT person has no idea either. I have reentered the passkey several times still won't connect. Will see if it connects to home WIFi once battery fully charged and if that doesn't work well…a paperwhite might be in my future ;)

I would like to buy Kindle book which is a bible commentary so that I can read this book in iphone.
I have physical bible book with me.
I would like the commentary to be 1-2 verses (or a little more) at a time and there is commentary for them. (This would help me to be able to read almost the entire bible.)

How to move on from a loveless marriage?

I am still in love with my husband. But I know he is not in love with me anymore. I tried to stick by him through thick and thin and tried to re kindle our love. It has been two years so we've made love, the last time I tried getting intimate it didn't work out, and i had to practically beg him to be intimate with me. This loveless sexless intimateless marriage has really affected my self esteem. I have never felt so unattractive and disgusting with myself. If my own husband cant find me sexually attractive who will. but all in all I still love him and have tried to stick it through like vows say to do but I know he isnt in love with me anymore. We tried to fix this marriage but nothing has helped. I dont want to move on but I dont want him to be forced to stay with me out of vows if he doesn't love me. How can I begin to move on when I still love him…2 years in a loveless marriage really affects your whole world. I just dont know what to do…we have no kids.
Added (1). I guess I should elaborate my questions since many are deeming lack of communication is the problem. We have done marriage counseling, and seen a sex therapist. Both did not work. Whenever I try and do dates with my husband he is uninterested. He has cheated once because he stated he is unhappy. I have done so much to just try and stick by him and fix things. Ive heard in marriage you can fall in and out of love so I was hoping with all the therapy in the world, taking time from each other, giving in to all his demands and talking over and over about our marriage would eventually help us to at least start to better our marriage but I feel it has only pushed him more away. Theres no talking when we get home, no love, no I love yous no anything.

MY KINDLE FIRE DOSENT WORK?!

ok so ive had my kindle fire hd for a year now. i ha a problem lately

i cant view my photos. usually on the main page i can click on "Photos" and go on it. But it has been having a pop up that says "Cannot launch photos". Its been like this for a really long time. So i had been having to use OfficeSuite to look at just the files.

I really wanna be able to lauch the photos again and be able to look at them, swipe trough, and delete

I hope someone else knows how to fix this and knows what im going through!

Original Kindle Fire issues?

I have had my Kindle Fire for about a year and a half now, and at first it worked perfectly. Recently though, it has been acting up (freezing, spontaneously shutting off, closing out of books as soon as I open them) and I'm not sure what I should do. I would really enjoy my Kindle if it wasn't such a pain in my ***. I have taken it to Staples (where I bought it) and for some reason when they started checking it out it miraculously started working correctly again. But when I got home, it was back to its usual self. Someone ***please help*** I'm growing very tired with my situation. (on a side note, I have 3 apps on it)

I feel like I've achieved nothing in my life?

I'm 35 now and feel I have achieved damn all in my life. I can't recall ever having a success to be honest. Going back to when I was in school failed all my exams, never had a decent job, always dead end minimum wage jobs and never been able to progress in a job.

Even basic things like driving I can't do, living in the back of beyond everyone drives as public transport is so poor, I don't know anyone else who can't drive, I rent my home as can't afford a mortgage, I've never left the country, again living in the UK I don't know anyone who else who has never left the country.

Quite the catch aren't I? I've tried things like Tony Robbins programs, even The Secret, all with wonderful reviews, did damn all here along with the other 100+ self help books I have on my Kindle. I just have no motivation in my life and am just living to get to the end.

Ok so I have a kindle love the thing especially for all the free books. Unfortunately I have way too many on my kindle. I read a book about eighteen months ago I really liked it and for the life of me i can't find it. Below is a description and major plot points. If you think you know the title can you say it I would really appreciate any help it's been driving me crazy.

It's a historical romance fantasy. It begins with the protagonist uncle killing her father in medieval era. The uncle and aunt makes her a slave and sells her as a sex slave. The main male character he buys her and takes her home. A little later he ends up fighting with another male character and during this time the female character figures out she can control the elements and she uses her powers to save him. Her powers are all based on love. The male character builds her a sanctuary outside the castle walls so she can practice her powers.

Does Amazon charge higher prices on some items to its Amazon Prime customers?

Earlier today, I sent the following email to Amazon Customer Service:

I've been a happy Amazon customer for the last few years, and I was recently considering switching to Amazon Prime. I'm not interested in the video streaming or the Kindle library. I'm just interested in the free 2-day shipping. However, I read that Amazon charges higher prices on some items to Prime customers! I've heard this from multiple sources. Is this really true? I'd like to think that Amazon wouldn't engage in such a sleazy practice. At very least, Amazon should inform customers of this practice!

I got a quick response from Amazon which didn't answer my question in the slightest. It just summarized the benefits and cost of Amazon Prime membership. I clicked something to tell Amazon that I'm dissatisfied with the response, and I want to talk to a representative. I provided my phone number in the space provided, and the representative called me immediately. She assured me that Amazon does not charge different prices for Prime customers. Maybe Amazon discontinued the practice, or maybe the representative was incorrect. Does anyone know?

Can I fix problems with Flash Player and Kindle Fire HD?

I have a Kindle Fire HD with the 7" screen but I can't see video clips that use the adobe flash player. Adobe saysy to download it but they don't have a version for the kindle. Amazon says that flash is already on the kindle, it is disabled by default and that I just have to enable it in settings but there is no option for flash in settings. I have the most updated software on the kindle. Is there an app or something I'm missing?

My son has a Kindle Fire HDX. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 3. I have much more storage available on my tab 3, since I have a SD card. How can I make it so the Fire can access a file like a movie from my tab for playback on the kindle? What are the best Picture Books for the Kindle?

I recently bought a Kindle and I have been trying to use it to read bedtime stories from for my five year old son. However, most of the best picture books I know (Julia Donaldson, etc) are not available, or are available but look terrible as the pictures do not fit on the screen properly.

Amazon payment revision help?!

I bought a book for Kindle, but before I did, I forgot to set my default card to my new debit card as I had the one currently listed deactivated yesterday after it was stolen. Now my purchase is in a limbo where I can't seem to find a way to switch to the other card (because it's digital download) but I can't cancel the order either (because again, digital download). If I just leave it, will it cancel itself? Or if I rebuy it from the same account with the new card, will it fix the order? I'm at a loss.

Kindle won't download books?

Please help I got a kindle for christmas and my mom bought a lot of my books for college on the kindle. I did not know i had to download them after she purchased them so after getting to college I tried to download the books and my kindle wouldn't connect to the wifi here.

I went to the technology help center and the people there said lots of tablets have been experiencing problems regarding the wifi.

My mom says that I can download the books from my computer ( they were able to only download on my computer) to my kindle. I looked up instructions on how to do this and when I plug my kindle into my laptop it says sign in required and it as always won't sign in, and I can't figure out how to put books into the kindle from the computer.

Can someone help me solve this? I really need to start reading these books. Am rewarding a lot of points if someone can solve this.
