Why doesn't Kindle, and others, provide this?

For well over a century, PRINTED books have featured full color cover scenes, which entice viewers into the pages.

Now that books are going electronic, it seems that the days, of beautiful artwork are going the way of the dinosaur.

My question is: WHY?

Why have electronic readers CHOSEN to abandon the beauty, of cover artwork?

Would it really be so "impossible" to include cover art on downloaded books?

If a complete lack, of artistic expression, is to be the "future" of reading, then would this be the same as that famous song, which says "All in all, your just another brick in the wall"?

What future is there, for imagination, when art is being abandoned, for technology?
