How should I price my book? And how would I go about publishing?

I'm intending on publishing my story, Icarus, once it is completed. It is still very much in its early stages but once it's done, I really want to publish.
If I were to price it at £3.99 through Amazon Kindle, I'd get 60% of the price. Of this, I'd intend to give about 10% (24p) to a cancer research in memory of my grandfather. Is £3.99 a reasonable price? A friend suggested maybe £4.99, but I don't know if anyone would buy it at that price. Are there any other ways of publishing online that would give me more than 60% of the price?
I would also be interested in publishing a paperback version, and I'm really not sure how to go about that. If it costs a lot of money I wouldn't be able to do it: I'm not overly wealthy and I don't know how well the book would sell. Would it be a good idea to publish online, see how that goes, and use profits from online sales to fund paperback versions, or should I just stick to an online market?
I know I've asked a lot of questions, and I'd really appreciate any feedback!

Added (1). The book is words only. I'm yet to decide how long it will continue on for: so far it has 8 chapters with around 1000 words per chapter, and I am planning on continuing for at least 10 more chapters.

Why isn't Megashare working on my Kindle?

Hi. I've side-load flash and dolphin browser via ES Explorer onto my Kindle Fire HD 7". All my software was up-to-date prior to doing this. Dolphin works great! However, when I attempt to use megashare.sh (which is why I did all this), it redirects me every time I click a movie to watch. Why does it do this; thoughts? Is there a fix?

I have a HORRIBLE attitude?

Okay so I have an attitude and its really bad. I try soo hard to change it but i just cant. I dont give attitude at school or anything just to my mom and dad and thats bogus of me cuz theyre my parents and i should respect them the most out of anybody. Im not exaggerating,everday, i always get introuble cuz my attitude and its more than once a day. I dont know how they handle it. I need to change my attitude and I just cant. It doesnt work for me to "think before i speak "cuz i cant or to "ignore it or count to 10" or anything cuz it wont work. My parents dont hit me either when i give attitude,they dont even take away my phone,ipod,tv from my room,or my kindle away from me,they just say "stop. You need to quit already with your attitude" and i dont know how they can deal with just talking to me. Can someone PLEASE tell me a way to stop my attitude PLEASE im tired of stressing them out or ruining their day,cuz they give me EVERYTHING I need AND WANT. PLEASE! Thank you! ^.^

Having issues with my new Kindle Fire HD?

Okay so I bought a kindle the other day and I set it up, logged into my amazon account with it. Before I had bought it I was using the kindle iPhone app, so I already have books that I've bought. But for some reason my Kindle isn't registering on my amazon account devices? I checked the Cloud on it. I've also tried looking up how to connect it but I haven't found anything. Oh, and I forgot to mention I only own Macs so I don't really understand how connecting my Kindle to my Mac works. I downloaded the Android File Transfer program but I don't understand what to do with it? I would really appreciate the help! Thank you!

How to look up books that I have deleted off of my kindle app?

I am searching for this book that I really like. It's about this girl who lives with her adoptive parents but she decides to leave them because the mom is pregnant. She goes to live with this man that they told the parents she was related to, but really isn't. He's a werewolf and showed that to her in a park. She has to go once a month to this log cabin for a weekend. The werewolf has her meet all of these other eligible werewolves because he says that she is special and rare. She eventually meets Clay. He is more wolf than man and doesn't talk like at all. She goes to college and lives in an apartment with this other girl. They try not to turn the heat on that much. Clay shows up at the house as a dog/wolf and they keep him. The main character soon finds out that he is Clay. Clay works at the garage. Eventually, she bites him on the neck in front of a whole bunch of people when it is normally done in private. Clay finally talks. If you know the book, please help me.
