I just got my Kindle Fire a few weeks ago and I like it, but I really want to root it to make it more of a real android tablet. I want a new launcher and to be able to use the Google Play market. I have a computer, but I'm fairly new to rooting and don't trust myself to do it without bricking the device. I was wondering if there was some sort of root apk file that I could download directly to the Kindle. Like gingerbreak.
