Do you prefer iBooks or Kindle Unlimited?

I'm so angry right now; in fact I'm absolutely livid. All I'm trying to do is overcome my anger by reading Thic Nhat Hanh's book called Anger, but unfortunately I bought it in the Kindle version. I say unfortunately for two reasons:
1. I actually had to buy the book twice in Kindle because you have to pay ten dollars a month in order to read a book in Kindle, but because I stopped making payments I lost the Kindle Unlimited as well as all the books I purchased, so when I had to get a new Kindle I had to buy the book for a second time.
2. And this is the main reason: I'm trying to read but can't help but be completely distracted by the big, bright, and annoying light coming from the margin on top the screen on my MacBook Pro. I don't know what it's called but it's the bright margin with all the listings like Safari, File, Edit, View etc. I can't find any way to get rid of that, whereas in iBooks, in I open that up, it completley covers all of that and I can read in peace.

I guess I will have to keep being angry until I can afford to buy the book for a third time in the iBooks.

Supplies for a three day solo camping trip?

Not much here, but I'm going to clear some of that smoke in my head and take to the New Mexico mountains for three days. I want to run by some of my supplies. It's been a few years since I last trekked into the wilderness like this, so if I'm missing something or if you could recommend something, I would be very gracious.

So I have about three days supply of dry food, mostly freeze dried Mac n cheese and chicken. I have my sleeping bag and a single person tent, a pair of day clothes, a thermal shirt and pants for sleeping, an extra pair of pants, a fleece coat, a fleece hat, my ax, my knife, a waterproof case for electronics and my fire starters, a poncho, a space blanket(never really needed it, but it's compact), a few pieces of kindling. This seems like all I need for a couple of days.

Oh and I also have my revolver in case of an emergency. Other than that, if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!

Can this harm me in any way?

If I washed a kindle (the old kindle keyboard model) with some dawn soap and water while it was off can anything happen where if I have it on my bed or close by my head while I'm sleeping or even just sitting next to it awake that it can harm my brain or nervous system in anyway?

How long is safe before I should turn it on in case there could be wetness in crevices even though I dried it with a tissue?

My body feels tingly is it from that or worrying about it do you think?

Questions about a kindle keyboard?

I have a kindle keyboard (about seven years old) that fell on the floor. I then took a wet paper towel squeezed the water out and put a little dawn on the towel and wiped it down. I was careful to not get any holes too wet. It was completely off while I washed it and then I dried it right away with a paper towel and kleenex.

How long should I wait to turn it on in case there could be water hidden in a crevice?

Can this damage it?

Can anything happen to the electronic parts where if I have it on my bed while I sleep it could harm my brain or something on me in general? How if at all water resistant is a kindle keyboard?
