I want to download a couple of e-books to read on my computer but Kindle For PC infects computers with "Conduit" spamware/malware, which I could remove in about half an hour but it's the principle of the thing. I refuse to use such a piece of crap.
What's my best option if there is one?
Added (1). Thanks Scootaloo. Can you tell me if Callibre works with Amazon downloads? They all say "Kindle" so I'm not sure how this works.
