Im not sure what kind of kindle it is exactly, but its a white one with the ink display.It was one of the first amazon kindles made. The screen is messed up pretty badly.It was given as a gift, so I'm not sure of the warranty and really dont want the person to know I broke it.Is it possible to get a replacement from amazon, for free? Ive read a few things where the kindle was replaced free of charge. Timeframe however, im not sure of. Also, is it possible to fix the problem myself. If needed, ill post a picture of the kindle, and my email if anyone has detailed instructions on how to fix it. Thanks in advance.
