The oldest extant biography of Muhammad is called the "Sirat Rasulallah" â€Â" "Life of the Prophet of Allah". This book was written by Ibn Ishaq, a devout Muslim scholar, and later revised by Ibn Hisham. It was written before any of the major works of Hadith. It is considered the most authentic biography of Muhammad. It was translated into English by A. Guillaume as "The Life of Muhammad".

page 515 reads:

"Kinana al-Rabi, who had the custody of the treasure of Banu Nadir, was brought to the apostle who asked him about it. He denied that he knew where it was. A Jew came (Tabari says "was brought"), to the apostle and said that he had seen Kinana going round a certain ruin every morning early. When the apostle said to Kinana, "Do you know that if we find you have it I shall kill you?" He said "Yes". The apostle gave orders that the ruin was to be excavated and some of the treasure was found. When he asked him about the rest he refused to produce it, so the apostle gave orders to al-Zubayr Al-Awwam, "Torture him until you extract what he has." So he kindled a fire with flint and steel on his chest until he was nearly dead. Then the apostle delivered him to Muhammad b. Maslama and he struck off his head, in revenge for his brother Mahmud."

How to remove an Amazon account from a kindle?

Hi I have recently brought a kindle paperwhite from shock and since buying it I have not been able to add my account. I'm an Amazon Prime user, and I'm not sure if i should just go for a Kindle for the text books.
I also have a Mac and an iPhone, so should I just get an iPad to correlate with the other electronics?

I want something light and easily portable, reason why I want a tablet, even though I already have a Laptop.

I something not too expensive yet great for school would be amazing. I just wanna use it for online textbooks and classwork/homework, everything school related.

Relatives from overseas visiting, need some information please?

My cousin and her family (husband, 2 teenagers ) are flying out and we thought to send them two E-Readers or Kindles preloaded with some books about Australia. Which type are best, that is, holds most, non-reflective, long lasting battery? What are some sites that have good cheap stories about Australia? Touristy things, funny,landscapes or maybe nghtlife in both our cities and our outback. Also, which retail shops might have the best deals. Any links will be appreciated.

How should I market my book?

I started work on a trilogy ("The Awakening Trilogy") and recently got the first book, "Deep Sleep", published through Amazon.

I tried advertising the book on Facebook, and even emailed local libraries about it, but I haven't had much luck. The dean librarian at the community college wants to buy a copy, and a very good friend wants to buy an autographed copy. A couple of friends bought their own copies, one in print and the other through Kindle, and an acquaintance had bought a Kindle version in the United Kingdom. Still, all that in one year is a bit of a bad start. I'm not expecting millions of copies to be sold (though, it would be awesome), but it would be really cool to see my book in some local bookstores if anything!

What are some good ways to market the book? I'm about to order just a few copies and might be able to do a "book signing sale" at the local "arts council" this summer.
