The wifi on my 1st generation Kindle Fire won't connect!

It's been working since I got it 2 years ago with flying colors, the internet was fast, downloading books was easy, and emails were a snap. But, since yesterday the wifi has begun to act erratically. The only way to make it work is to turn off my router and modem, then turn them back on again. Yet after I do that, if I turn my device off it screws up the wifi, and when I turn it back on again I have to go through the whole process again. I've already tried turning off my Kindle, hard-rebooting my Kindle, re-doing all my passwords and making sure they were right, reseting all my passwords, and seeing that there weren't too many devices hooked up to my wifi at one time. Nothing works! I've already looked at the Amazon trouble-shooting website and there's nothing there. I'm very upset about my beloved Kindle, any suggestions?

Apologize but dont care to kindle the relationship.?

I had a fallout with a few friends a couple years ago. I feel bad about how I handled the whole situation and while she handled it terribly as well, I just feel the need to reach out and apologize for the way I handled my end. I want it to be general though, short and sweet. I'm about to move and really don't care to mend the friendship. We were in a non profit organization together and another girl and I kind of cut her out of everything because she wasn't doing her share and supporting. She did her bad mouthing on facebook and what not but I just want to clear my guilty conscience so I know I did what I could to fix it… what should I say?

How to get books on my kindle?

I just got my kindle an I have school on Monday, so I wanted to get the book called matched. I pressed buy an then my mom had to put in her amazon info, and I thought it had worked. I checked my book category and all I had was dictionary's.we bought the book but we have no clue what went wrong. The book is not showing up anywhere. HELP!!!

I was wondering if I bought a free app off the appstore on Amazon from a Kindle Fire, would it show up on the receipt. Or the date for the matter?

Strange Dream I Don't Know Why I Dreamt It?

In the dream, I was sitting at a table with one of my good friends, Kieran. He was reading a book on his kindle. Everything seemed fine. But then, I heard a strange noise. I looked up and their were animals nailed to the walls like, eagles, geese, and several other animals. I felt really upset, but Kieran didn't seemed bothered at all. He just kept staring at his kindle.My mother than walked in with a hammer and nails. I asked her what she was doing, and she explained that she was being sure that these animals never left her. I don't understand why I'd have such a violent dream! When I awoke that morning, I felt depressed and really irritated. Anybody know why!

Why does my kindle fire hd lose all of the battery left in it over night?

I exit all the programs I am using and put it to sleep the next morning it is completely dead I don't know why? Any help and insight?

Kindle Fire issues with charging?

Okay so i had the kindle fire 1st generation since 2011 when i first got it it had know problems but know its starting to run slower charge slower everything but the main problem is the charging i left my kindle on the charger for a hour cause it was at 1% when i woke up it was at 15% i was pissed cause when i used to charge it it would be fully charged by a hour im really starting to hate the kindle fire -.-
