Reasoning behind electronic production replacing paper production?


Books. I read somewhere a benefit of reading electronic novels is saving trees. But how when production for these electronics such as Kindle Fire, are made in large factories harming the environment? And trees are being torn down everyday to make way for buildings and franchises. I feel like, as humans, are covering up our tracks instead of cutting back on production and initiating solar Panels and energy saving cars and making recycling a law.

Living in the USA, as an American feels like we steal and steal and steal from other countries but we don't even take care of what we have. And then parade around like we do no wrong. I'm not trying to be Kumbahya or whatever but it's really concerning that not many care about reversing the impacts we've had on global warming.
