Why is the amazon Kindle so limited in functionality just because it is a reading tablet?


Whilst I understand that the kindle tablet is supposed to be a reading tool, why did amazon build it so shitty?

1) there is no table of contents when you are reading a book, so you have to memorize page numbers in order to find chapters.

2) It can only RECEIVE via bluetooth

3) When you click the send option, the word "wifi-direct" appears, but as I learnt here:

wifi-direct is not supported by kindle!

4) after a while it's no longer recognized via usb connection; making any transfer of data FROM the tablet a tidious process of phone-tag using email…
