I read on the news that now Sherlock Holmes it's public domain… And I'm wondered if now anyone can publish a fanfiction like a book? Whether Amazon Kindle, iTunes, or on paper…
I would appreciate a lot to someone to explain to me how is this question. Also if anything Sherlock Holmes is publishable anywhere in the world.
I've seen some novels of Sherlock Holmes on Kindle that are not of the author and talk about all sorts of topics.
