There are then two options you can highlight and select with the volume and power buttons- reboot your kindle and reset to factory defaults. I have tried the reboot option countless times, as well as the manual reboot by holding the power button for 20 seconds. Also my computer does not recognize the device when I connect it with a cable. Is there any way I can avoid losing all of my photos and files saved on my Kindle?
