I've had an original Kindle now for two years. I do nothing with it but read. The battery used to, if fully charged, last me about two weeks even if I was using it a lot. Recently though, it has started to last me only a few days. I have recently charged my Kindle from a Laptop running without a battery (i.e. When it is on it is only powered by a a wall plug). But could that have damaged by Kindle battery so drastically?
