I went from a kindle fire to a windows 8, on the kindle fire I had an app for texting that was free, they gave me my own number and as long as I had internet I could txt people, is there an app like that for windows 8 that works well and that I can get my own number for?
Added (1). The windows 8 is a computer not a smart phone or anything fancy like that just a regular laptop
