I noticed that the longer I used the NIV 2011, bible the more into lusting after women, pornography, and even jealousy became to take over my life. I now use either the ESV or KJV translations. I had this idea that everybody was kind of perfect. I also know a church called University Bible Fellowship that has lost it's church members little by little. They too have read straight from that NIV bible and I think it has made them worse too.My friends and some other people said "Be Carefull with that church" I thought they were crazy, but it turned out that they weren't. Not only the NIV bible, but the fact that the pastor in the church seems to be controlling the people and they don't see it. He reads straight from a script instead of preaching by memory. Many of their church members had to leave because they were a little pushy and controlling. They meaning the Korean and other missionaries.It started out as a local church with Korean missionaries years ago. If you OBEY what they tell you, you will follow their mindset.In their one on one bible studies, their tactic is to get you to do a testimony and just as a group get information off of you. The church was even discovered as a CULT, like the jehovas witnesses but not that intense. Whoever owns and NIV bible is being fooled by SATAN himself.It's a good bible to read as a parallel, but never use it as a primary study bible, or for devotionals. Only use certain verses that make sense in the NIV 2011. Personally I just stick to my KING JAMES VERSION and my ENGLISH STANDARD VERSION. I also noticed that the ESV bible is free for download on ibooks or kindle. The NIV2011 bible costs money to download their E-Version of their bible. What does that tell you about the NIV2011? Their just about the money and nothing more and nothing less. Man, my two friends from my local church were right 7 months ago when he told me to be carefull with that NIV2011 bible. I regret not listening to them now.So two weeks ago I threw out my NIV2011 bible and refused to even donate it. Man how the devil has us fooled.My life started to change after that. I was less nervous, more calm, and even had no desire for pornography. I finally got it in my head that nobody is perfect and God has us for a better purpose or a goal. I'm not telling anyone that they have to get rid of their NIV bibles, but they should consider the consequences of using that bible translation. Call me and my two friends from Church crazy, but we believe it's not the best bible translation.Me and my two friends go to a baptist church and still use our King James study bibles whenever we have bible study too. Our pastor still preaches from the KJV bible too The NIV1984 I think is still OK but even that one can have problems too. I pray for the people who use the NIV2011 and that God helps them get through their troubles because of that. If anyone thinks me and my two friends from my baptist church are crazy, we're not. God be with us all in these years of trouble. Other english bible translations are OK except that NIV and NWT that the jehovas witnesses use. What does anyone think of what I have discussed so far?
