My boyfriend recently bought me to Kindle Fire and today when I went to plug it into my Mac OS X for the first time, it is unresponsive. The computer itself recognizes something is plugged in but is calling it "alienm15x-00". When clicking on that, it says 'connection failed' and has a button to press which is 'connect as'. After pressing connect as it is asking for the server name and password of the device as a guest or a Registered User.
I don't understand what server name and password there is for my Kindle Fire. If anyone has had the same problems please help me into connecting it to my mac.
