Any info on a 2nd gen Kindle Paperwhite?

I have a Kindle Keyboard w/ 3G. I love it, but lighting is an issue sometimes. The covers with lights are heavy and aren't very good. The Paperwhite came out in September with fewer gb's than previous Kindles (Amazon says it doesn't matter because you can store books in Amz Cloud, but it matters to me) AND they got rid of the speakers. Obviously they don't want to compete with their Fire Tablets. But if I wanted to read off a back-lit screen, I wouldn't have purchased a Kindle in the first place. I think they took enough heat for removing the audio and gigs to reinstate both in the next one. Have you heard any rumors of a release date for a 2nd gen Paperwhite?
Added (1). EDIT@ Uncle Pennybags: I have over 300+ books, I plan to add many, many more. I occasionally use the text to speech. Also, you can download mp3 songs and play music while you read. Most importantly, I have audio-books too. Amazon was really pushing them before the Paperwhite. It just seems like I'd be giving up features I use (not to mention $ wasted on audio-books) for a touchscreen with a light. I would like to have the smaller device, higher contrast, and touchscreen that the Paperwhite offers.
