Ok, so my uncle bought me a kindle fire for Christmas. (yay! :D) Anyhow, I started it up and it said to log in to an amazon account. Since I didn't have one, I started one. After filling out my email address and such, it asked for the payment methods.It has the credit card and the gift card options. Under the gift card area, it says 'optional.' I have a prepaid American Express gift card and would like to use it on my account. What do I enter in the area under gift card? Do I have to have a credit card on my amazon account to even have a gift card? Is it possible to enter my gift card under the credit card area? Help please!
