I have an older computer… a Dell 8300. But, i keep upgrading it, so it works fine. I bought the Belkin wifi adaptor and when i plug it into the USB port, the computer finds the new hardware. i use the install disc to install everything needed. but then when i go to set up the wifi, it doesnt work. Its listed as an option in my networks but it just sits there unconnected. also, it doesnt pull up the list of wifi signals that i know are floating around my house. I have netflix, a kindle and laptop that work fine with the wifi.Is there something i should do in bios? or something else that i should do?
