I am looking at self publishing a book on the Kindle through Amazon. I'm guessing my book isn't copyrighted because I've not applied for a anything. But on the upload process it says to confirm 'this is not a public domain work and I hold the necessary publishing rights.' Is it OK for me to say yes? Because obviously I give myself permission to publish my own book? Thanks.
