I love the Les Miserable musical, I love the movie too. Javert is my favourite character because he has the best lines, songs and he's so deep.
I have the book on my kindle but not got round reading it anymore.Do we find out about his background in the book? There's a lot of things that he hints at in the musical which aren't answered.
