I have an older model of the kindle e-reader, probably from two or three years ago.It ran out of battery and I haven't charged it for about six months because I lost it. I finally found it and plugged it in right away, but even after an hour it still shows the "empty battery" screen. I tried rebooting it first for 15 seconds, than 20 seconds.It's not completely dead, since the switch still glows orange when plugged in and briefly turned green while I was trying to reboot it. Anybody know what's wrong with it?
