I'm looking to purchase a Kindle Fire for my kids (ages 6 & 7). I want it for reading, educational games, and occasional movie viewing (reward time & vacations). I love the parental controls that limit functionality, but now I'm stuck on if I should purchase the Fire HD ($199 - 16GB w/ HD + forward facing camera) or the non-HD ($130 - 8GB). I honestly already think the non-HD is a good enough deal, but the consumer in me thinks MORE, MORE, MORE! Heck they are just kids, what happen to a freaking barbie for Christmas (lol). HELP!
