So, I've had my kindle for about 2 years now and love it. This morning while I was in bed I reached over and grabbed it, but it slipped from my fingers and the corner of the kindle bumped into the desk before falling on the carpet floor. I really didn't think I had reason to worry, as it couldn't have fallen more than 2 inches before it hit the desk. But though there's not so much as a scratch where the corner hit, the screen will no longer turn on and has these lines across it. The power switch works just fine.
I'm sure I'll have to contact amazon about it, but I was hoping someone on here with experience with the issue could give me a heads up on what to expect?
