As time marches on, I find myself with many electronic devices that I've put aside in favor of newer ones. Old computers, old eReaders, old cell phones.
Beyond consigning them to the landfill or recycling, how can I get new life from them. Can I re-task them somehow? Example, can that Pentium 4 computer I have running Windows XP be put to some other purpose?
Could that older Kindle Keyboard 3GI have do something besides be an eReader? Could it for instance be re-tasked to be a mobile hotspot with a software upgrade?
