I am looking to buy a tablet to be mainly used in lieu of a laptop for web browsing, video streaming, gaming (apps) and the occasional Skype session. I was thinking of buying a used iPad first generation however for around the same price I could get a new Kindle Fire HD or a new Google Nexus 7. These are smaller devices so I am worried if they are really the best options for web browsing. Which of these options is best? Which other tablets are worth looking into?
I would not like to spend more than 220 USD.
