The story is about a 17 year old girl named Hope Walker who has Been told she is moving away from Australia to the sunny state of California in the U. S., Leaving behind her two best friends ( and one of them is her boy friend) behind. at first she is dreading the day she has to move, until her boyfriend. Starts acting stranger and stranger over the course of 6 months until he breaks off their long lasting relationship making her count down the days until she moves wanting to get away from the place she has so many bitter memories.only to find quite sometime later that her now ex boyfriend. Has become a international super star! Out of sheer curiosity she attends one of his concerts re kindling her feelings for him but he has no recollection of who hope is!
