I was trying to root my kindle fire 1st gen. Now its stuck on the splash screen. Help?

i was rooting my kindle 1st gen and it stopped midway. There was some error. Now it's stuck on the plash screen. My computer isn't recognizing the kindle everytime I connect, it gives me the error "the last USB device you connected has malfunctioned, windows cannot recognize it" I've tried the kundleunbrickutility as well as the kindlefireutility. Nothing works. Please help.

Am I the only one without a kindle these days?

To past the time by, I would like to start reading again. I haven't read books in while and thought I'd read something I've wanted to read in forever. I want to read Harry Potter.

I'll admit, I've never picked up a Harry Potter book until a few months ago. I read the first book and I'll read it again soon. I would like to read the rest of the series. I'm hesitant to purchase paperback or hard copy books, but I like them.

In technology today, everyone these days are using kindles. I don't have any knowledge about them other than having a kindle would save tons of book shelve space. It's a bit out of my price range, but I save up until I can afford one. What should I do? Save up to purchase a kindle(to read HP and other books), or get the paperback Harry Potter books, etc?

I downloaded this book to my friends Kindle and I want to be able to read it on my laptop, I have her kindle now but will have to give it back to her later.

Not get bored on a plane ride?

so i'm going on holiday to las vegas and our first flight is from glasgow to gatwick, then we have to wait at the airport for almost 3 hours an then the flight from gatwick to las vegas is about 10 and a half hours. I love airports and airplane rides and all, but i can see myself running out of things to do and getting bored. Any tips or ideas on how to pass time in the airport and on the airplane, and what sorts of thing you would do yourself?

I am having suicidal thoughts again?

I am now just turning 12, my family is starting to split apart, my oldest brother is never home, same with the other, and my 14 year old brother left for military school. I have friends at school, but I don't feel like they are my friends. I can never have a deep or real conversation with them. I am crying before I fall asleep ever night, no matter if I fall asleep at 7:00 or 2:00 I wake up exhausted. I am starting to lay low with my counselor and meeting once a month. I am feeling quite depressed and I have started to think about very disturbing things. I don't know if I should tell my counselor or not, I might **** my entire life up or fix it. Last time I talked about suicidal thoughts my parents almost threw me in a mental hospital. I am always glued to my screen, tv or kindle and I feel like I'm worthless and pityed. Please help, I feel like I'm hitting a dark end of my life.

Bluetooth keyboard case for Kindle Fire HD 6?

I am looking for a case that has a keyboard in it and it is for the 6" Kindle Fire 2014 release but all I can find is one for the 7" HD and the 8.9" HDX.
