What is an alternative reading website to Playster.com?

Hi.

For those who don't know, Playster is a website with books, movies and music on it. For one payment option a month, you have unlimited access to either all the books, all the books and music, or all three for no further payment. I'm on it purely for the books, but it's a relatively new website with a horrible search engine and does not contain a lot of the books I am after. Is there another website like this? I can only find websites that have E-books available for individual purchase instead.

When I download Project Gutenberg books to my kindle, they don't show up in my library. Help?

If I search for them I can find them. They're labelled as "personal files". But I'd prefer if they showed up in my library rather than having to type in their names every time I wanted to read them. Any advice?

Can I retrieve my kindle/Microsoft account thing, without an email or phone number?

Years ago I got a kindle, I had about 5 unfinished books in it until one day I sat on it and broke it. It still worked and charged but half the screen was white. Since then, I didn't feel like fixing it and I just left it to rot. Though today, I finally remembered I had one and I remembered all of the books I paid for and didn't finish, but I have no idea how to log into my account. I'm trying to access my account through the app so I don't have to deal with fixing my kindle. Though, I set up the account with an email that I destroyed. The email doesn't exist anymore and I didn't put my phone # in with my account. To get into your account, you need an email or phone number plus a password, all I remember is my password.

Can t sign in on Amazon kindle?

For some reason i can not sign into Amazon Kindle on the windows app. I know im not typing the wrong login details as i have just signed into my account on my android app. I typed exactly the same email and password 4 times but it wont recognise the login. Can anyone help?

Are my reservations about my fiance reasonable?

I have been dating my fiance for 4 years. We lived together for the first half of it, and during this time I truly did fall in love with him.

Two years into our relationship, we both became Christians and began attending church regularly. Eventually, we both felt guilty about living together, so he moved out. After he moved out, we began to drift apart.

Time went by, and eventually, we had nothing to talk about. Basically all we have in common is our memories from the "good days" early in our relationship.

About a year ago, I convinced myself that we shouldn't be together and that once I graduated college we would break up. Well then proposed [with the most beautiful ring]… And i said yes. Being engaged re-kindled our relationship to some extent. I think the biggest issue is that he wants us to exclusively belong to this particular church, that I have serious reservations about. He even wants to attend a 2 year bible training that I am not interested in after we are married.

Some days It is so clear I shouldn't be with him, and others I couldn't imagine not having him. I don't want to throw all this time down the drain or take the risk of ending up alone for the rest of my life. He truly is a great guy, and I know he would never hurt me. But on the other had I don't want to make a huge mistake. I feel that I am not seeing my situation clearly.

Am I being too picky? Are these issues a deal breaker for a happy marriage?

I've developed insomnia. Will the light from reading a book and up keeping me up at night?

Note that I'm talking about a print book, not a kindle or another screen. I'd still have to turn a light on. I find myself afraid to turn anything on (TV, computer, light to read) if I'm up because I don't want the light to wake up my brain. I end up just lying there anxiously instead though.

Is there a page limit when publishing a book?

My father has written a scientific treatise, my mother is in the process of publishing that book on amazon on kindle (and other digital mediums), however she is concerned about the amount of pages as there are only 11 in total. Is there anywhere that says you can t publish such a short book? I ve done a bit of research but couldn t find anything.
