Copyright infringement on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing?

I've uploaded an ebook on Amazon KDP but just found out the arty picture I've used for the front cover is protected by copyright laws and I don't have permission to use it. Can I be sued or what type of damages could this incur.

Can I upload a file (my e-book that I wrote) from my smartphone to Amazon Kindle?

I can't access to a PC and I need to publish my book, It's in word, I guess I must transfer it to PDF right?
But is any program for Android to edit - publish books in Kindle?
If not any suggestion about how publish it from a simple android device?
