Which is better: Google Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD?

Well it's my birthday in about a month and my Mum and Dad asked me if i wanted a tablet or Beats by dre. I said A tablet because i've already got some monster headphones.
Anyhow, I have a choice between the Google Nexus 7 or the Kindle Fire HD, because they are the cheapest tablets according to my Dad.
I have heard some really good things about the Nexus, as it's got the new software on or something (Jelly Bean), and some good things about the Fire.

Does anyone know which is the best for me? I'm a 13 year old if that helps any of you. :)

Im trying to root/jailbreak my Kindle Fire?

I want to root/jailbreak my kindle fire 1st gen.It currently running version 6.3.2.so downloaded the KFU for 6.3.1. When i try to open that file to install the drivers it says the path cannot be specified. Anyone else have this problem. How did you fix it?

Uploading onto a Kindle Fire HD?

Is it possible to put video and music from my laptop onto a Kindle Fire HD?

For instance if I have DVD would I be able to rip it to my laptop then put it onto a Kindle Fire HD? The music I have downloaded onto my laptop would I be able to put that onto a Kindle Fire HD?

My wife has downloaded some PDF books off a disc onto Kindle fire. When she puts USB lead in, the Laptop showing they have downloaded. The front covers were in the photo's section, but she can't find the books. Where do you find them?.Can you help?

Can I return an opened kindle?

My grandma got me a kindle paper white and she made me open it. I do not want it. I read Manga and I prefer to read an actual book made of paper than to read it on a little electronic device because the screen hurts my eyes.

She made me break the seal on the box. Can I still return it?

How to view my own book on Kindle?

I have my own book that I have in PDF file, or regular file. And just like on iBooks I would like to be able to read it on my iPad through the Kindle app. I don't have the book published, but I would like to be able to sit back and read it nonetheless on the Kindle. Any ideas how to? Thanks.

Would filing a police report be beneficial?

I have recently found out that my Kindle Lite has been stolen, and whoever stole it bought 2 purchases off of my account. I have contacted Amazon CS and had the device disconnected.

My device was most likely stolen at a local tae kwon do banquet party for the dojo that my brother attends, so I am assuming that whoever stole it was someone who attended the banquet. I have the serial number to my device, as well as proof (online at amazon) that I am its rightful owner. I have also registered its serial number on several places such as Trace to ensure that whoever stole my device cannot re-sell it without being discovered.

I know that, as the Kindle itself was only $60, it would probably be placed on low priority. I was wondering if there would be a chance of recovering my Kindle if I filed a police report. I was also wondering if there were any charges involved with filing a report.

Should I price my Kindle book $2.99 or $4.29?

I am an author on Amazon Kindle. I just put out a new book, a zombie survival book. Today is the last day of the book's free promotion with 2, 000 downloads.

Should I price the book at $2.99 or $4.29?

At $2.99 I get $2 per sale, and at $4.29 I get $3 per sale.
All of my other books are $2.99 and they sell good. Should I try and up the price or not take the risk?
