Reading a book, left side vs right?

I find it easier to breeze through the right page as opposed to the left when reading a book.it seems it takes forever to get through the left page. ever since i got my kindle fire, i keep it on the right side of the cover i bought for it, it's like i can breeze through books now. does anyone experience this? what causes this? something with left brain, right brain maybe? thanks!

Does Amazon lower the price of Kindles for the holidays?

I want to buy a Kindle Paperwhite, but if Amazon lowers the price for Christmas or Thanksgiving, then I will wait. Last year, or in the past years, has Amazon lowered the price of the Kindles for holiday shoppers? If so, about how much less and at what time did they reduce the price? Thanks.
Added (1). Also, Cyber Monday. I want to know for SURE if they cut the price specifically on Kindles, please. If anyone remembers from last year, that'd be ideal. Thanks.

Can I use my Kindle Fire to type documents?

I am considering getting a Kindle Fire HD.It has blue tooth connectivity for wireless keyboards amongst other things. Could I get a word processor on it and type, and could i use it to add to a document on my laptop?

All I do is browse the internet, write a story on Microsoft Word, and use Steam. Tablets have keyboards that can be attached through USB ports and I've gone through two laptops and a desktop within three years and I'm tired of how easily they break.due to temperature or travel.My wife has been talking about getting me a Kindle Fire for some time now. Would a Kindle Fire be able to handle everything I need my PC to do?
